Il Vecchio e il Mare Monopoli

Everything was great – nothing to complain about. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the apartment felt very clean and fresh. We also appreciated the hairdryer and the good amount of space. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The location is excellent, close to everything in Monopoli, while being tucked away in a small side street, so you are not right in the middle of the busiest areas. Communication with the host was excellent, with quick and helpful responses throughout our stay.

The apartment is located in the city center, so some street noise is to be expected, especially during the evening. We brought earplugs and slept very well, so it was not an issue for us. Not really a negative, but parking can require a bit of patience, especially in the late afternoon and early evening. We usually managed to find a spot near Sforza or on the surrounding streets around Einstein.

The place was exceptionally clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything worked perfectly, and everything was new and beautiful. The bed was comfortable, and the location was great. I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent location. Clean modern room and access to the building was easy.

The stairs are extremely steep, narrow and high. We had 16kg, medium size bags and husband could only just get them up to the top floor. So if you get the top floor room, be prepared. We also had to pay the city tax twice as host said booking.com payment wasn't counted.
