This newly built home on Hoopers Island offers you, your family, and friends a cozy, quiet, and peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Enjoy stunning sunsets, backyard campfires, fishing, and crabbing on the pier—vacationing doesn’t get any better than this! You'll be welcomed with friendly smiles and waves from every neighbor you meet. Hoopers Island truly is the best little town on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland!
The space
- Approximately 2,300 Sq ft single floor home with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms
- 2 ½ acre lot with plenty of outdoor play area for adults and kids
- Plenty of land for outdoor activities, leads to pier
- Up to 12 people
- Central heating and A/C
- Spacious back deck
Bathroom: Bathtub, stand in shower, hair dryer, and cleaning products.
Essentials—sheets, towels, soap, toilet paper and toiletries.
Bedding: 1 king (master bedroom) with full bath, 3 queens, 1 full (Sofa bed), and 2 twins.
Kitchen and Dining: Dining table and kitchen island with stools.
- Essentials—cooking basics, dishes, cocktail set, mugs/cups and silverware.
- Refrigerator/freezer, microwave, electric stove, hot water kettle, coffee maker, coffee, and creamer.
Entertainment: 55” and 65” Smart TVs, books, board games/playing cards, and Wi-Fi.
Kids: Baby seat, Pack ‘N Play, toys, and books.
Home Safety: Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit.
Outdoor Areas: Private backyard, back deck with outdoor furniture, fire pit, gazebo, lounge chairs, volleyball/badminton set up, Pier with table/bench, and outdoor shower.
Game room (shed)—ping pong table, lounge chairs/couch, smart TV.

Kayaking: Bring your own kayak and launch it at the island’s entrance for a peaceful paddle on the water.
Dining: Treat yourself to delicious seafood at Old Salty’s, a local favorite known for its fresh and flavorful island specialties.
Local Store: Hooper Island General Store is right next door and has everything you need—from snacks and groceries to fishing gear and spirits.
Remote Beauty: Hoopers Island is a charming, peaceful getaway, offering a true escape from the hustle and bustle.
Groceries: It’s recommended to purchase groceries in Cambridge, MD before heading onto the island, as options are limited locally.
Safety Note: Children should NEVER be left unattended near the bay, as the water can be deep and dangerous.

This property was a perfect location for our family as we attended a wedding on Hooper's Island. After we were able to get in the house, we discovered an extremely welcoming home. The code vrbo sent was incorrect. Fortunately the owner after several emails, sent someone. She was got us in and showed us around. There were plenty of towels. The refrigerator was empty so we could immediately put our groceries away. We had forgotten coffee but there was also coffee and tea. There was a great game room for the kids. The outdoor deck had a wonderful view. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and wished we had longer to just relax and enjoy the island.

Great location and amenities. Super clean and house is well appointed. There are actually two living rooms and the extra game room in the garage is a wonderful bonus. The backyard was great, with the volleyball net, fire pit, and boardwalk to the water. No luck on fishing for us either but little crabs and birds were fun to watch. Would absolutely come back and recommend to others!

The new island home is great. House was spacious and clean with everything we needed. Outdoor area was beautiful. Dock was great, although we didn't have any luck catching any fish.
