Polizzi is a small medieval village that rises within the Madonie Natural Park, rich in churches and convents, true architectural works that preserve equally masterpieces within them. These buildings, together with aristocratic palaces in contrast with clusters of medieval dwellings perched on hillsides, give Polizzi the charm of a village lost in time, immersed in an almost unspoilt landscape with views of the high mountains of the Madonie that frame the greenery of the valleys and woods.
Walking through the alleyways you will be able to admire richly adorned palaces, as well as simpler little houses, vegetable gardens, gardens, small artisan shops and some good restaurants where you can taste typical dishes with local products.
The city is also known for the cultivation and production of hazelnuts, which is celebrated every year in August with a characteristic village festival enlivened by folk performances and popular music.
Palermo airport is less than 1 hour and 30 minutes from the accommodation.
