Lovely Apartment In The Heart Of Tórshavn

The property was very well located was very well located, convenient to everything in town. The floor plan and layout was very good. We appreciate it The condiments and base provisions in the cupboard.

We had problems with the shower enclosure that limited it’s utility. We would have liked to have received more specific directions in locating the property. Providing the Street number was inadequate. Such as a description of where to find the stairs and the front door to the apartment, which is located on the backside above a retail yarn shop. Fortunately, we were not trying to arrive after dark. Additionally, the Property Mgr. should provide guidance and instructions on parking possibilities since the driveway included next to the property is too narrow for a modern day vehicle other than a smart car.

The location of the apartment was so central in Tórshavn and easily accessible to shopping and the harbour. The apartment was warm and cosy and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly liked the floor heating in the bathroom! In the little shed behind the apartment was a fully equipped laundry which was fantastic for washing and quickly drying all the wet clothing from the hikes in Faroese autumn weather! All the taxis and tour guides could easily find the apartment for pick up and drop off. It was also close to cafes and restaurants for meals and a supermarket just 5 mins walk away.

I wished I could access local TV channels, but the TV only offered streaming services, which was fine anyway.

The apartment was so wonderful. In a perfect location and had everything we needed for a 6 day stay. Great kitchen for cooking meals and lots of space in the apartment. Was a great base while exploring the islands.

The shower really needs to be replaced. It looked a bit like it might be only a temporary measure while the shower gets replaced but having only a hose that you have to hold up for water was very difficult and made us avoid showering during our stay. It wouldn’t be possible or safe to use the shower if you have any minor mobility issues. A shame because everything else was perfect.
