Central apartment in Tórshavn

L'appartamento era pulito, bello, spazioso, luminoso e arredato in modo molto carino. La cucina è provvista di tutto l'indispensabile per cucinare. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Non abbiamo avuto difficoltà con le chiavi. Inoltre, rispetto alle recensioni che avevamo letto, non c'è stato nessun rumore durante la notte. L'appartamento è in pienissimo centro e vicino a bar, pub, ristoranti, supermercati e negozi.

C'era un cattivo odore nelle scale. Inoltre l'ingresso e le scale per arrivare alla porta dell'appartamento erano sporche.

Apartamento muy moderno, muy bien reformado y cómodo. Muy bien ubicado, cerca del puerto y el centro. Facil aparcar.

The apartment was really nice and spacious with lots of windows. There is everything you need in the apartment and the layout is really nice for couples on vacation. There was no coffee maker but we got by with a dry coffee and hot water which was already available. Wish I could say that the location was perfect because in a way it is, short distance from downtown harbor and popular places, but the surrounding establishment was at fault (see below).

I wish I could say that the stay was faultless but it wasn't. Not the apartment but the surroundings. The opposite building hosts some kind of youth center for boys and every night there were load noises. The first couple of nights we managed to get some sleep but then we had to call the police because boys were fighting and screaming constantly. One night they were throwing snowballs in the windows that were open. We were so surprised that this was happening because of all the reviews on the site it sounded perfect and no noise complaints.

The location was perfect at is was very central. It was a quick walk to everything–cafes, restaurants, shops, gym, supermarket. Parking was no problem at all either.

One thing people staying MUST know is that the apartment is across from a youth center. It was pretty noisy until about 1am. Kids were hanging out outside being kids. They also kept revving their scooters and driving around. Apart from that, everything was great but this was a real bummer.
