Uvi House & Restaurant

Perfect place to stay for a few night to discover the Usambara Region. The staff is lovely and the food amazing. Abduhl organized bus tickets for us and also an amazing rainforest tour with a local guide. Asante sana!

The place was great! It is a calm relaxing place with a strong connection to people living in the neighborhood. The hosts where great and of course the landscape/views are amazing.

Der Blick ist fantastisch! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und dass Essen das beste, das wir in Tansania bislang hatten. Ein wirklich schöner Ort für einen Aufenthalt!

Amazing views and very kind staff, but unfortunately several issues affected our stay

- The cottage lighting was extremely dim due to reliance on solar power, making it difficult to see at night. - No proper power outlets were available in the room. - Breakfast buffet was delayed 45 min despite an agreed time, and although it was included, we were charged extra for a second omelette. - Warm water was promised twice but never available, which was disappointing in such a cold area. - Additionally, despite online information stating that card payments were the only accepted payment method, only cash was possible on site. - Rather than offering a solution, the issues were dismissed by the owner.
