A small part of the road to the facility is earth road but other than that, the stay was amazing

Der Kühlschrank hat leider gar nicht gekühlt Frauen dürfen nur mit Badeanzug in den Pool, es wäre gut, wenn das auf Booking stehen würde, damit man entsprechende Badekleidung einpackt. Wir konnten den Aufenthalt nur mit Bargeld zahlen, eine Kartenzahlung war nicht möglich. Auch das sollte auf Booking stehen, denn das Hotel ist so weit außerhalb, dass man nicht mal eben um die Ecke Geld abheben kann. Nichts allzu negatives, aber was man wissen sollte: das Hotel ist weit außerhalb und es sind auch keine Bodabodas oder Tuktuks direkt vor der Tür. Per Bolt sind wir trotzdem einigermaßen gut in die Stadt gekommen. Am Anreisetag haben wir Essen aufs Zimmer bestellt, das hat leider 2,5 Stunden gedauert. Für den nächsten Tag hatten wir frühstück für 8 Uhr bestellt, es kam dann erst um 9. Das Personal hat mit uns das ausschließlich Swahili gesprochen. Die Dame am Empfang konnte auch englisch, die Dame, die das Frühstück brachte, schien kaum english zu sprechen. Da ich selbst swahili spreche, habe ich sie trotzdem verstanden.

What a phenomenal one-night stay at Mwambani Beach Villas. The staff made this stop in Tanga truly special, warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to help from the moment I arrived. The property itself is stunning, with a gorgeous pool overlooking the grounds and rooms that open right up to ocean views. Everything was spotless and top notch, from the room to the common areas, and you could tell the place is exceptionally well cared for. Even though my stay was brief, the team went out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home. The breakfast was a lovely bonus, and the whole property has such a peaceful, well kept feel to it. I’d happily come back and stay longer next time. Highly recommend if you’re passing through Tanga.
