We had a lovely, restful stay at Sandhill on our trip along the Wild Atlantic Way. For us it was a welcome change from hotels and it felt like staying in someone's home. It was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the facilities we expected, made all the more relaxing from the peaceful setting and wonderful view. The art on the walls, games, books, and option to light a fire, made our stay cosy and homely.
The bathrooms were slightly dated.

Everything was great. Shower in en-suite was basic but hood hot water supply.

The house is lovely, fully equipped with everything we needed. The sea view and remote location make it perfect for a group of friends and dogs. The host was fantastic—very responsive and incredibly helpful. We definitely want to go back!
The heating system could be improved, as one of the rooms (with the single beds) was quite cold at night. The ensuite bathroom also had an issue, with the shower not heating properly. This could make stays during winter a bit challenging. However it didn't make a bad experience, we love the house still, we used the shower at the main bathroom.
