Shepherd's Cottage

Collected the keys from the lovely cafe/gift shop on site - that was a nice surprise in itself. The staff were all very friendly and we can recommend the breakfast in the cafe.

The view from the cottage is limited, but nothing can be done about that due to its position. When we stayed, the campsite was empty (as you'd expect in February!) but in summer when the campsite is in use, the cottage will be less secluded and there will be plenty of people and cars passing by both sides of the property.

The property itself was excellent. The fittings, the furniture and the facilities were of a very high standard. It is also a great location for walking.

It was disappointing that after we had booked we were then charged a further £25 for our dog. We should have been told up front when we booked. Also the cafe located next door was not dog friendly.

Very clean, comfortable sofa and bed. Everything seemed new and good quality. Handy having great little cafe next door and nice pub across the road.

Absolutely lovely cottage. Everything you could need is provided. Great shower, the kitchen had everything you could ask for. Welcome milk, biccy's and wine were well received. Tv's in both bedrooms and living room. Great secure parking on site. Lovely views. The property was a good temperature and very clean Doggy well catered for with bowls and bed. The extra cleaning fee is reasonable Cafe and shop on site and a pub that serves food was less than 1 minutes walk away. Close to the beach. Communications were clear. We would stay here again without any hesitation

Although the listing says extra charges may apply for doggy's I would have preferred to have known in advance of booking what the fee was - £25 is however reasonable - it is just me preference to know in advance.
