Colour House

The accommodation has fullfiled my expectations and I am grateful to the host for properly cleaning the apartment. The apartment is well equipped, spacious and there are grocery shops nearby as well as a very nice burger place with craft beer offer (GG & Beer; highly recommend). :)

It was not a big problem, but the shower heads should be fixed a bit. Also, sound proofing in the apartment is not the best in terms of the other building residents living above. Any object that fell or simply walking was heard quite loud. For those visiting Rome for the first time: be aware that commuting from point A to point B in Rome can be very stressful. The streets in the vicinity of the apartment are filled with garbage containers, very unpredictable car drivers (traffic is chaos) and extremely narrow side-walks. If you need to go anywhere on foot, it will not be a pleasant walk (sadly). This is of course not connected to the apartment nor the host, but I think it might be good to share here.

The apartment has all it takes for a pleasant stay in Rome. It's spacious, clean and well equipped. It's a great starting point to explore the EUR area, and the Maximo shopping center located just across the street has all you need for food and shopping. The apartment is conveniently connected by bus to the nearest metro station (Laurentina), and from there you can reach the city center in 15 minutes. Highlight: the bakery "Il tuo Fornaio" in front of the building, amazing place for coffee, pastry and pizza bianca.

If you travel by car, it might be hard to find a parking spot.
