Come rest and relax for a weekend or a family vacation—this place is so beautiful and peaceful that it feels far from it all (just 10 minutes from Auray), yet only 25 minutes from the beach.
Experience it for yourself—you’ll never want to leave!
There are 11 sleeping spots spread across two houses, giving everyone their own living space:
“The Big House,” at 130 m², features a large 70 m² open-concept space that connects the kitchen, dining room, and living room—perfect for spending time together. The two beautiful double bedrooms (one of which includes an en suite bathroom) and the bedroom with four bunk beds are upstairs. A second bathroom is also located upstairs. A third bathroom with two spacious showers is at your disposal.
The small house, “Chez Simone”—a 40 m² cottage spread over two floors—features a double bedroom and a single bed upstairs, along with one bathroom and modern dry toilets.
The cottage consists of a double bedroom and a single bed upstairs, as well as a bathroom with modern dry toilets.
You can relax in a Nordic bath that you’ll heat to 37°C!
Due to logistical challenges, you’ll be responsible for heating the water yourself (it takes 3–4 hours to reach 37°C). We’ll fill the bath for you if you’d like to use it on the day of your arrival.
Optional: €50 for a single fill (wood not included; you can purchase a bundle of logs at the supermarket for between €7 and €8 per bundle of 5 logs). Or €80 for a single fill, with wood included.
This mill, dating back to 1650, is a rare gem, nestled in the heart of 7.5 hectares of meadows, woods, and a river, combining the charm of its architecture with a variety of activities:
- relax by the river with a book
- go fishing (get a fishing license)
- paddle on the river’s clear waters in a kayak or on a stand-up paddleboard (4-km trip available)
- hold a jumping contest off the dock
- go for a hike through this car-free, rolling countryside…
- birdwatching (a pair of silver and white herons—great egrets—love to visit the meadow right in front of your house; a squirrel scampers from branch to branch on the oak tree outside your windows)
- relaxing in the warmth of the Nordic hot tub, heated to 37 degrees, right in the heart of nature.
Pure bliss!
The first beach is in Locmariaquer, a charming little village with plenty of character that’s definitely worth exploring! It’s a 27-minute drive from Le Moulin, or you can visit the large beaches of Erdeven (home to surfing and kitesurfing competitions), 35 km away.
To help you make the most of your garden, outdoor tables and chairs, a barbecue, and lounge chairs are available for your use.
🧹 The €120 cleaning fee is not included in the rent; you’ll need to pay it at the concierge desk before your arrival.
🛏️ Bed linens and bath towels are optional. If you’d like to rent them:
- €20 per double bed (90x180 cm) and €16 per single bed (80x200 cm)
- €5 for a set of 2 towels
- Bath mats and dish towels are included.
