Lovely apartment Deauville

The one good thing of this apartment is definately the LOCATION. I travelled to Deauville with my sister to watch most of the horse jumping shows and of course we also wanted to get to see the city a little, the location of the apartment was right in the middle of both things we wanted to go see, in our case was perfect. The apartment is walk distance from the center of Deauville and it is also easy to access. Location is a 9 out of 10. Also the explanation to self check in was very clear and it worked out immediately.

There were many things i didn't like. Let's see how i can best explain this. I was travelling there with my younger sister as i mentioned before, we stayed over for 3 nights and every day the apartment surprised us with something new, for example: lights were off on the second day we arrived, like not working we had to fix it by ourselves, broken air abduction from the bathroom and at some point it also fell out of the roof and it stayed hanging, we also had to fix it by ourselves otherwise it would have fallen on our heads while showering, the iron wasn't working at all, one day there was a spider in the bathroom too and so on.. The biggest issue was on the day we arrived! As other people have already written here the bedshits were not changed, the place was not clean at all, the trash bins were not changed and we found receipts of purchases on the bed under the blankets, probably from the previous guests. Basically everything was left over from the previous guests, we figured we better call the number given in the text message from the owner for emergency, Meirelle was a lovely lady that unfortunately didn't speak English, we asked a friend to help us translate the call and we explainef everything to her. She apologized and said she got confused with our arrival date, we proposed for her to come and clean the apartment whenever was possible for her. She came the next day early in the morning, we left the apartment for her to do what was necessary amd finally the apartment was as it should have been when we arrived. Mistakes can happen but i wrote the owner 5 days upon arrival to extra confirm our date and time of arrival. Plus the flat does not really look like the same as the pictures on Booking, in reality is much dirtier and in oldet conditions. Anyway this was our personal experience.

-La cabine de douche sans porte !!!! -Le pommeau de douche en plastique cristal qui ne tient pas et qui vous tombe sur la tête Et lorsque par magie il tient quelques secondes la pression est tellement forte que vous ne pouvez pas rester dessous -et bien sûr aucun échange avec le propriétaire malgré mes messages déposés sur l’appli et le service Booking.com prévenu par mail et par téléphone

La vue et l'emplacement

Certains verres étaient sales. Salle d'eau vetuste, la porte de la douche inexistante, difficultés avec l'eau chaude. On aurait apprécié être accueillis avec le chauffage (deux degrés dehors) et aussi, nous pensons qu'il y avait des rongeurs car on entendait des bruits dans le mur a côté du lit double, et pour finir c'était compliqué d'allumer la télé car il n'y avait pas de manuel pour d'utilisation (3 télécommandes).

Les draps : Le drap housse ressemblait à une alaise donc pas très agréable L'annonce mentionne : A disposition linge : Nous n'avons eu que des petites serviettes donc pas très pratique pour sortir de la douche

L’emplacement et l’accessibilité était très bien

La propreté n’était pas au rendez-vous

Plaques de cuisson dysfonctionnant , douche peu pratique et un peu sale , pas assez d équipement pour cuisiner, escaliers tres raides , odeur d humidité
