Madrid Centro Rooms

Great Location: Situated right in the city center, making it very pleasant and easy to get around Madrid. ​Cleanliness: The bed sheets and overall room were very clean, with no issues regarding hygiene. ​Shared Amenities: There is a central room with a common fridge/freezer where we stored items, and nothing was stolen. While there were other shared bathrooms available, we didn't end up needing them. ​Bathroom: Although our private bathroom was smaller than expected, it was still functional enough for the four of us. ​

​Frustrating Check-in & Extra Fees: We arrived at 7:45 PM (15 minutes before 8:00 PM), but due to poor communication with the person handing over the keys, we were kept waiting until 8:15 PM. Because check-in dragged past 8:00 PM, we were forced to pay a €25 late check-in fee, which felt unfair given we arrived on time. ​Lack of Outlets: There are very few power outlets throughout the space, and virtually none near the beds, which makes charging phones overnight very inconvenient. ​Summer Heat & Fans: Visiting in late July meant high temperatures. The room had three fans running constantly to keep us cool, but they took up most of the few available electrical outlets.

Very central. Restaurants right below. Metro within a stones throw. In the nice part of the city

Was loud, even at 4 or 5 am with the doors closed. But if you closed the doors it got very hot even with two fans. But alas, it’s Madrid in the summer
