Roof Haven at Kensington Mews

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist top - besser geht es in London kaum. Eine wunderschöne, ruhige Gegend die aber mit dem National History und Science Museum und der Royal Alber Hall super zentral liegt. Für eine Familie mit 3 Kindern ist die Wohnung ausreichend groß. Mehr als 6 Personen könnten aber nicht darin schlafen. Ausstattung war gut, es war sauber und endlich in London kein Teppichboden.

Die Nestle Dolce Gusto Kaffeemaschine war umständlich hat eine ziemliche Sauerei gemacht. Außerdem sind die Kapseln (abgesehen von Cappuchino und Latte) in den umliegenden Supermärkten nicht zu bekommen. Eine normale Nespresso Maschine wäre sinnvoller - oder ausreichend Kapseln in der Wohnung bereit zu halten. Gar nicht gefallen hat mir die unprofessionelle Kommunikation des Vermieters der in Whatsapp mit Halbsätzen ohne auch nur einem "Hi" geantwortet hat. Und ich verstehe nicht wozu jemand zur Wohnung kommt und den Schlüssel übergibt wenn die Übergabe genau ein "Hi - the WIFI password is ..." ist. Da hätte ein Schlüsselkasten auch gereicht.

Excellent location and a very helpful, precise, and efficient host. He allowed us to extend our checkout time, which we requested, to the morning of our last day (which I greatly appreciated).

Convenient location next to the tube. Located in a picturesque area. Bathrooms are very nice. Kitchen was nice and clean. Hots were very responsive

2 of the 3 bedrooms are tiny. You can just about walk around the beds. The sofa bed in the living room is in poor condition. The coffee maker didn’t work properly. There was bird feeces on the deckchairs so the cleaners didn’t pick this up when they cleaned. There were also a couple of dead birds in the nets by the roof terrace which wasn’t pleasant to see.
