Rai Phuchat

This property stands on a beautiful spot in the hills of Northern Thailand. We were welcomed very very warm by the owner of the place which constantly made sure we felt at home. We can’t recommend more joining the evening dinners. The mother of the place cooks the most flavorful Thai dishes that we’ve ever had. You literally can’t miss these flavors during your time in Thailand(!!) Also, this place is just located perfectly, where it’s easy to access many temples and other beautiful in the high country. (Bonus tip: rent a scooter in Chiang Rai) We can’t wait to come back!

Nothing to dislike.

Het ontbijt was goed. Het was donker in de kamer 's nachts. Het was er zeer rustig

De afstand naar winkels en restaurants. Men heeft eigen vervoer nodig. Men kan er wel een scooter huren voor 500 bath.

This place is really beautiful, the owner gave us a free upgraded room with a nicer view and a wonderful spot to hangout and read, do yoga or just relax. The rooms are clean and the family dinners offered are very tasty! The owner also offers a motorbike rental at the place!

The only downside is you need a car or motorbike to access anything in the area so come prepared with that!

De rustige omgeving, geluiden van krekels. Mooie brede houten veranda. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar die je graag helpt met reisadviezen. Lekker koel en diep zwembad. Mogelijkheden voor een eenvoudige avondmaaltijd en een 4-5 gangen diner voor 400 Baht p.p. Alles gekookt en bereid door de vrouw des huizes. Het is kleinschalig en hierdoor heerlijk rustig. We voelden ons meteen heel welkom en thuis.

Als de gladde tegels in de badkamer nat zijn, glijd je zelf uit en delen blijven nat. Bij het zwembad zijn slechts twee ligbedden en twee stoelen. Misschien fijn om wat hangmatten in de tuin rondom het zwembad op te hangen? Een nachtlampje naast je bed zou prettig zijn, maar nachtlampjes missen we eigenlijk overal in Thailand.
