My friend and I were in Chiang Rai for only a couple of days and our stay here really made my entire Chiang Rai trip. It is a bit of a challenge to get to as we stopped in Mae Sai instead of Chiang Rai but nonetheless, the minute we got to The Estretto, we were showered with nothing but hospitality. We did not catch any names but all the staff are very welcoming and helpful. They have a cafe and restaurant which was really convenient for our breakfast, lunch and dinner needs. We asked if they could help us call a tuk tuk / song thaew to help us get around but instead, they arranged for someone to drive us on a private tour to the key tourist spots that you just have to see on a short trip in Chiang Rai. We would 100% come back if given the chance!
