Overall, the stay itself was pleasant as the place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. However, the experience dealing with the management was quite frustrating. There was no clear communication prior to arrival — I was not informed that it would be a self check-in, and no one reached out to confirm my booking. This made the arrival process unnecessarily confusing, especially after a long drive. Parking in Melaka is already quite difficult, and it became even more inconvenient when I had to sort things out upon arrival. Only when I reached the location did they inform me about an additional RM200 deposit that need to pay online while i have cash which was not clearly communicated beforehand. This forced me to go out and find an ATM, adding extra hassle to the whole experience as this is self checkin. While the accommodation itself is nice, the lack of proper communication and poor management significantly affected the overall stay. I hope the management improves their process, especially in terms of transparency and guest communication.
