had some issues checking in as the property was located in the middle of a residential area with inadequate signs. it was very airbnb-esqe, genuinely thought that we were screwed when we could not find the property after driving a few rounds. when we did find the property via a faded sign, there was no number on the sign to call as this property was not manned at all. to be fair they did whatsapp a message beforehand but it appeared as a foreign number and we do not entertain unsolicited messages. so a bit of drama but all was ok. the parking space is actually public lots that are on the narrow public street itself. hotel will take care of the charges somehow but you would need to purchase parking coupons when parking anywhere else in this area. ask a local for details. the property looks nice and spacious with a queen sized bed on the ground floor and another in a separate room on the second floor. Aircons in both areas need servicing as they were both not very cool. there were mosquitoes but that resolved quickly after a few hours with the mozzie traps. there is one outhouse style toilet in the backyard, but getting to it was not as convenient because the yard was covered in rounded river stones and there were a few relatively flat raised narrow wood textured "planks" placed at intervals to walk on. the yard looks nice but you have to mind where you walk. last thing to note is that the beds are exceedingly hard... like lying on a padded plank. very uncomfortable for me.

Perfect location, walking distance to jonker walk, hardrock and river side. Nice and cozy room for family. Only draw back is for those drive, you will have to find own parking at road side. Don't park at non designated parking, you will be compound for RM100.
