This apartment in San Lorenzo was cute, clean, and came equipped with AC and all the essentials: a fridge, stove, and even a washing machine (because no one wants to fly home with a suitcase full of dirty underwear). My cousin and I both felt the pictures were nicer than the actual apartment, for example the floor didn't look overly clean. But we both enjoyed the apartment. The windows were a pleasant surprise—they did an excellent job keeping out the street noise, which hasn’t always been the case in other places I’ve stayed.PROS:Just a 25-minute bus ride to the Colosseum and most of the big sights. Being outside the main tourist zone means your pizza, gelato, and espresso won’t cost a small fortune. The neighborhood feels more local and authentic. You MUST visit Broccia Circolo Cibo located just around the corner for your breakfast!CONS:If you're not comfortable using public transportation or figuring out bus routes, this location might feel a bit tricky to navigate.
