Good location, across from market, restaurant and short walk to brewery with live entertainment, but the room was just ok. Laid back easy place to stay, location is great, short distance to everything Big Bear has to offer. Never even saw an employee, they text me the door codes and we were good to go. My favorite part was the single "What's going on in Big Bear this week" type of magazine was from 2023. My kinda place.

Me and my boyfriend loved this spot! we felt really safe and loved the location. Room and bathroom was clean and so was the outside property only thing i would complain about is the fact there's a empty pool just teasing you but other than that it was great.

Horrible. Manager passively aggressively texts you at all times of morning saying the maids can't handle cleaning up a little glitter. Honey, you're a maid, you clean up kid vomit and all sorts of nasty stains on beds and you're complaining to the manager who somehow has the audacity to complain to me about a little glitter? Do your freaking job and don't whine about it like a little girl. Manager is also never in office (I checked, many times) and texts you 15 times when you arrive to get your check in time to the minute because he doesn't want to hire help (too cheap) and wants to know the exact 5 minutes he'll have to be at the front desk. Bugs in room, scorpions and cockroaches. Disgusting, dated hotel. Not dated in the cute, vintage way. Manager will try to be nice and go out of your way at first if you act nice but it's all a ruse, none of it is sincere, and he wants nothing more to see you gone and never see you again. Noise is a problem too, all you hear is the main road, it's right off it, good luck getting any peace or sleep. Terrible beds. Worst motel I've stayed at in years and I travel frequently- you'll find many in third world countries that are nicer. Literally save yourself and book ANYWHERE else.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The room was a bit outdated and needed some maintenance. The bed wasn't too comfortable, and I found ants crawling on me while I was lying in bed. But overall, the stay was fine.

The cabin was nice. You get what you pay for. It could have been a bit more clean (found some trash under the beds, some silverware not clean). But overall we were comfortable. They did try to accommodate us for an early check in which was nice. The hot tub was nice and clean also.

The property appears decent from outside. however, we did last min. check in and the room was beyond dirty! the beds are old as can be falling apart with an old sheet sustaining the bed frame. the bed frame was coming apart! the floor was dirty dirty dirty!!! Heater wasn’t working and wall heater had a burnt remote with tape to hold it together. We contact the guy and he said he’ll get housekeeper to come clear, of course that didn’t happen. I should have read previous reviews!! PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE! it’s sooooo dirty till its scary! Why kids and I could not sleep due to the bed feeling and smelling dirty. The sheets were clean but extremely wrinkled!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND and please share this with others

Disappointing Stay Despite Easy Check-In I recently stayed at Bear Creek Resort and while the self check-in process was smooth and convenient, the rest of the experience was far from pleasant. The room was old and run-down, with worn-out furniture and a generally unkempt appearance. The worst part was discovering a mouse in the room. I’ve stayed at several hotels in the mountains before and have never encountered rodents inside the rooms. This was not only unsettling but also raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. While the location was great and the check-in process was hassle-free, the poor condition of the room and the presence of a mouse made this a stay I wouldn’t repeat. I would not recommend this hotel unless major improvements are made.

Rented a nice size room last minute so my son and I could have a quick ski trip. We arrived late around 10pm but we had access codes texted earlier so we let ourselves into the lobby and into our room. Room was warm and comfortable. It had a refer and micro and coffee maker (that gave me problems but I tried using my own beans not supplied puck) while there are end tables and coffee tables there was no dresser or table high enough to use as a counter. So I had to make our sandwiches for our ski day on a night stand. But price was great and it was clean and comfy for a night. I would stay again especially in the bigger cabins.

Noisy unit in main building. Wall heater kept us up all night banging! Never heard a wall heater that loud. Needs to be mounted properly. Had to take out our own trash?

It was strange to me that there was no one ever at the check in desk and all communication was through text only, they never answered my 2 phone calls. The condition of the room was good overall, however the heater makes very loud banging noises during the night which kept waking us up. The towels were not thoroughly cleaned and had snot or food residue on it. The shower curtain was stained. Additionally, we always strip the beds as we check out to help the cleaning staff, and were shocked and grossed out by the number of stains on the mattress cover. In my opinion, anything with stains should be replaced for good hygiene and health standards. I regret not checking under the sheets prior to sleeping. Conveniently located. Great Mexican food across the street. Would give it a second chance to stay there again.
