We had a lovely 2 week stay at Mango House. The owner is incredibly friendly and truly goes above and beyond for his guests. He even arranged transport for us and our surfboards in the middle of the night from the airport, which we really appreciated after a long journey. Weeks later, he also helped me organize another airport shuttle — such amazing kindness and reliability. Buddeke is a very warm and welcoming person who makes you feel at home straight away. The rooms are simple but clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay (we had one of the bigger rooms with AC which was really nice to have arriving from cold Europe). Each morning, he serves a small breakfast with toast, eggs, and a fresh fruit platter — a perfect way to start the day. The location is also great: it’s super close to Sticks surf spot and Marshmallows, yet still nice and quiet. Even though the train passes nearby, it never bothered us at all. It's away from the busy center of Ahangama (but still easily walkable) and you can see local wildlife like peacocks and monkeys around the house. We also really loved how close it is to Meori where you can get really good coffee. We’re very grateful for the hospitality and would happily stay here again!
