Son Simo D'alt

Wonderful home for a week. Good, well equipped kitchen, good size bedrooms, nice seating areas. Good swimming pool. Lovely animals next door.

Pillows were not of my taste, coffee machine definitely needs an upgrade. Some ceiling fans did not work.

We stayed at Son Simo d’Alt as a group of 10 and honestly, the accommodation was beyond words. The photos online are exactly what the property looks like in real life — if anything, it feels even more magical once you arrive. The villa is located just off the MA-13 road, making it very convenient if you are renting a car from Palma Airport. It took us around 35 minutes at night and about 45 minutes during the daytime. All the rooms were spacious and equipped with both air conditioning and fans, which was perfect after long warm days exploring Mallorca. There are 3 bathrooms outside the bedrooms in the main house, making it easy to share even with a large group. There is also an additional toilet in the charming chimney room and another beautiful, extravagant bathroom in the social club area. Every single day felt special here. We were greeted by peacocks dancing around the garden lawn, and nearby you could see pigs and piglets, chickens, turkeys, and ducks through the surrounding farm nets — it truly felt peaceful and authentic. The pool area is about a 3-minute walk from the house and absolutely breathtaking. You can see the mountains directly from the pool. We even found floats and swimming supports there, which was such a thoughtful touch. The villa had plenty of bath towels, constant hot running water, and all the kitchen amenities we needed. The property is so huge that every day we discovered a new corner of it — our group still felt like we hadn’t fully explored everything even after a week! The villa is so big that parking is absolutely not an issue,sooo much space!The property is protected by motorised gates,that only open with a code! The social room has snooker,chess.table tennis,barbecue and a 80-95 inch flat screen tv!bluetooth speakers!!you name it and it’s there!🫠 it’s truly a SOCIAL CLUB!!!! There are also fresh lemon trees at the back of the house which added to the whole experience.

A few tiny things to note — in some rooms the fans were not working, but the air conditioning worked perfectly so it was never really an issue for us. Also, if you decide to enjoy the massive bathtub in the social club bathroom (which honestly could fit 3 people!), the hot water in the main house can reduce for a while. Not really a flaw, just something to be mindful of when a large group is staying together and using water at the same time. The peacocks are completely wild, so unfortunately I could not get a selfie with them… probably the only disappointment of the trip! 🤣 Honestly though, jokes apart, everything about this stay was brilliant. We genuinely could not fault the experience and would absolutely return again.

Die Unterkunft hat unserer Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen. Es war super modern, die Schlafzimmer sehr geräumig und die Einrichtung sehr geschmackvoll. Die Küche war ebenfalls sehr gut ausgestattet. Außerdem gab es auf dem Grundstück viel zu entdecken und die Vielfalt an Tieren haben uns sehr viel Freude bereitet.
