GuestReady - Tranquility near Shepherd's Bush

The location is excellent, situated in a very quiet area where we could rest perfectly without any street noise. Access to the Shepherd's Bush tube station is quick, and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. The house is modern, spacious, and clean. The living area is very welcoming, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the bathrooms are fine. The first two bedrooms were comfortable and met our needs perfectly. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and communication with the host was efficient; we received quick responses whenever needed. The check-in instructions were clear, and the keys were easy to find.

The only downside was the incident on our first day. After a long 24-hour journey, we arrived to find the house at only 14 degrees Celsius. Being February, it was frustrating to have to manually adjust the boiler pressure (by draining water from the radiators) and figure out a thermostat set in Spanish just to get the heating started. Additionally, the third bedroom with the bunk bed was not practical for us, as it was difficult to access and didn't feel safe for a child. There was also a bit of a stale smell upon entry. However, the host was very helpful and provided prompt instructions to help us resolve the issues. Aside from that first day, it was a great stay.

House was nice, very clean and in a good state of repair. Warm and cosy, fantastic kitchen area. Two main bedrooms are good while the small one with the bunk bed is very small. Main bathroom is good too and shower works well. The area is relatively central, with Westfield huge shopping mall a stone throw away. Nice lounge with good TV and free Netflix.

The porch, outdoor area by the main entry door, was very messy and needed a good scrub, lick of paint on the metal fence would be good in order to match the standard of adjacent houses along the street. Similarly, the outdoor small courtyard outside the kitchen can be improved by painting the walls and removing old rusty bikes. There is a slightly unpleasant smell by the entrance of the house. I wonder if the bunk bed in the small room could be replaced by a single bed to improve the 3rd bedroom? The area is quiet and ok, good gastro pub few metres away from the house and nice coffee and cakes cool place few minutes walk away. Uxbridge road on the way to the tube station is a little rough, not the best walk in the evening, although buses pass very regularly.

Comfortable accommodations on quiet side street and easy walking distance to places to eat and buy groceries. Great for a long-stay with a few exceptions.

Absolutely nothing provided to wash up in the kitchen (dish cloth or towels). When I sent a message I was abruptly told those are not provided. Coffee machine did not work, which we only found out after we bought pods because nothing was provided for initial stay or even instructions on what type of pods where required if the thing did work. Pull cord light switch in bathroom off kitchen was faulty. Messaging the property management about these two problems got us no where.
