The kitchen was ok but we did take our own tea & coffee, plenty of cups to use and kettle

Not a lot of tea and coffee and was left open in cupboard didn’t know who had used it

Clean and quiet

Great location for those who want to explore Cardiff for the weekend. Comfy bed and very hot and nice shower.

Other guests kept leaving the front door wide open which felt unsafe, and the room was a bit shabby (but ok for money)… for example, the bed and mattress were incredibly squeaky, even just a small movement or shift in weight led to a loud squeak. Additionally, the room’s cleanliness could’ve been improved… there seemed to be globules of melted wax dribbled down the old chest of drawers which was very strange and some odd stains in the carpet. The photos definitely make the room look more attractive than in reality. But like I said, it’s a cheap digs and a comfy bed (even if it is very squeaky), which is fine if that’s what you’re after.
