Charming appartment 3-min walk to old town - FREE PARKING

It is a great apartment, we had a good stay. Very comfortable, done up to a high standard. Powerful hot shower Near the river Tea and coffee making facilities and free parking

No Aircon (or fan) in bedroom although it stayed fairly cool WiFi barely worked Check in instructions were completely unclear and we spent an hour at midnight looking for a door that was totally different to the photo they sent us. Little things - in an apartment of this standard (very nice) - if you say you provide shampoo, a half used men's shower gel someone has left is not enough. Only one thin pillow each. Broken umbrella, no batteries in TV remote. And asking us to strip the bed and take the bins out when the cleaner was arriving immediately as we left is not good - we are paying guests, why would you ask us to do it?

Great location: only a few minutes’ walk from the old town and there’s a bus stop close by for reaching the bus and train stations in less than 15 minutes. Access to a park nearby, which leads up to the castle. The unit itself is nice and spacious and cleverly designed, with a wide range of facilities. It will be even better once a new coffee machine has been installed (we’re not fans of instant coffee). We enjoyed sitting outside on warm evenings. The owners were very friendly and helpful during our exchanges of messages.

We struggled a little to find the entrance, before we realised that it was at the back of the property. The instructions provided seemed geared up for those arriving by car, but we came by bus ! It was hugely helpful to have a washing machine (one of the reasons we chose to stay here, in fact, as we knew we would have been travelling for a couple of weeks by then), but it would have been useful to also have an iron and ironing board. Also, we found the traffic a little noisy the first night, but it was a Saturday night and it was better the other nights (or maybe we just got used to it).

We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment. Much larger than I expected & lots of unexpected extras. Only a short walk to the shops, restaurants & tourist attractions. The hosts went above & beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Two things I would recommend (being extremely picky here), would be a few extra pillows for the bed & a pod coffee machine but otherwise it was perfect.

Eingangsbereich ist schön gestaltet. Sehr zentrale Lage.

Die Wohnung verfügt über keine Fenster mit Tageslicht, Tageslicht fällt nur durch die Eingangstür in die „Wohnung „ ,Im Schlafzimmer ist ein Lichtschacht, der fast kein Licht hereinlässt. Alle anderen Räume verfügen über keine Fenster. Es ist eine „Kellerwohnung „ . Toilette hat kein Waschbecken, zum Händewaschen muss man ins Bad nebenan gehen. Die Wohnung richt muffig, trotz der überall aufgestellten Duftkerzen. Wir empfanden die Wohnung als bedrückend. Der Preis war in keiner Hinsicht gerechtfertigt.
