Royal Vega Apartment

The location was fantastic. Decor in lounge room was lovely.

Second bedroom bed was thin hard mattress and uncomfortable. We hadn’t realised the air conditioning was only in that room and wasn’t enough to cool down the whole apartment.

Great location minutes away from the river yet much quieter that other places we have stayed. A good amount of space for 3 of us. Kitchen and bathroom well equipped for a 2 night stay.

Only one bedroom has an air conditioning unit which meant we had to keep the door open which meant a lack of privacy. Most of the time I’m sure this doesn’t cause a problem but in hot weather this was difficult to manage. Would suggest investing in a fan for the other bedroom/living room.

The property is a good size and very comfortable . The perfect location for a short city break in Ljubljana.

The shower was dirty with mould between the tiles. Unfortunately it was the first thing I noticed….

We found dirty towels at the bottom of the wardrobe. The floor was sticky, and the bottoms of our socks turned black. There were lots of ants. The shower went cold after one shower and wasn't very clean. It needed a really deep clean. And now looking back at old reviews, they say similar things, so it doesn't feel as if things have changed despite feedback. We were expecting 4 star and got 2. The aircon only kept one room cool, worth noting during these heatwaves, so hard to sleep. An extra fan would be helpful. It was hard to find the apartment as the directions took us to a parking garage. I think some extra instructions explaining how to get from the parking garage to the property would be super helpful.
