Sensational countryside vistas steal the show at this barn home set in 25 acres of Aberdeenshire wilds fringing Dunecht. With a log-burning fire to curl up beside in winter months and vast lawns outside for long summer days, there are plenty of reasons to linger at this home. But when you're ready to explore, Deeside, Strathdon, and the Cairngorms National Park are all within driving distance. Aberdeen Airport is just a few minute's drive away, too, when it's time to bid Scotland cheerio. Home truths: *Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you but must be kept under strict control as there are livestock and horses in the adjacent fields. *This home sleeps ten guests, with the last two guests sharing a double sofa bed in the living space. We think this bed is better suited to children sharing or short stays. *If you’re travelling as a larger group, there is an adjacent lodge on the farm grounds that can accommodate up to twenty guests. *While the wider farm grounds are shared, you’ll have a private entrance, gardens and lawns. *Due to the home’s remote location, you’ll need a car, and there is ample parking space outside. Your nearest town to pick up essentials is Westhill. *A cot can be provided for little ones.
