Very comfortable,clean cottage had everything you want when staying for a few day or a couple of weeks Short stroll into centre and bus stop outside cottage

May want to tidy up rear garden if you want the guests to use it

Dolafon felt like a home from home. The location was great, with easy parking and everything we needed.

The master was very snug with the bed almost up to the wall on both sides.

It was a lovely house, well kept and modern, also very central and has street parking nearby. It had everything we needed aside from a few essentials but i’m sure this was just an oversight and I made the host aware. Also there is only 3 clothes hangers to use for a place that can accommodate 4 people so more would have been great.

Our main concern was the waste. The council recycling and bins were full and the food waste was rotting in the outside bin. There were no food waste bags/inside bin to use either (that I could find anyway). We were asked to put the bins out for collection, which we didn’t mind but I doubt many others would do this as it shouldn’t be the guests responsibility. I believe that because this is a commercial property, the council may not be collecting waste and therefore, waste should be dealt with by a proper management service through Skyes Cottages, I could be wrong but the host mentioned a few collections have been missed lately and this would make sense. It could be a hazard, especially if anyone had nappies to dispose of so I hope this gets sorted for future guests. Also, a garden is advertised but just to warn everyone that due to the cliff at the back of the house, it is a steep climb up narrow steps to reach the terrace. It is also very overgrown with brambles, which I think should be maintained for safety reasons.

Lovely comfortable cottage. Warm and very well equipped. Extremely clean. Great location for an easy walk to the marina and into town. Very easy parking. We had a great stay :)

Nothing not to like - I can't think how it could be improved.
