Not quite what was expected

The train station is 10m at the rear of the property. Train comes in at 5.30 am and continues running stationary at rear of property for 30 mins vibrating the whole property. New sofa needed cover disintegrating.

Nice appartment but living area and bathrooms feeling tired.

Great location for a sailing event at Plas Heli. Spacious, decent kitchen, comfortable living area and beds.

It backs onto the station do you hear the 7am train ticking over the engine from 6:30am. No early train on a Sunday thankfully. There’s a feint smell of sweat in the upstairs bathroom which was there last year and probably needs investigating. The sofa is tatty and needs replacing as it did last year. Feels like it’s not had much maintenance since we stayed 11 months ago.

Mattresses need replacing,.springs popping out. Settee most definitely seen better days,.camouflaged.with a throw. No mattress covers, stained duvet and pillows. It's.a shame!

Last resort.

Nice property,clean,comfortable with good views looking out at the marina,good sizes bedrooms,one double room no on suite,one good sized family room with double bed,bunk beds and on suite which wasn't used so that onsuite became ours,the living room is upstairs,it's open plan living kitchen and dining that gives you excellent open views of marina, The whole floor area is wooden with 2 large leather settees with a decent sized tv on the wall,a coffee table,a large round glass dining table and there's barstools to use at yhe breakfast bar,a comfortable chair in corner of room looking at marina with a small balcony you can use on a nice day looking out to marina,theres also a shower,toilet and wash basin on the upstairs living quarters,overall nicely well presented property with practical everything you could want with an easy to use central heating system,good location close to all the shops,pubs,cafes and restaurants,car park is to the right of property in a private area that's accessible via a remote that operates the arm that goes up to let you in,if avery property was in use then spaces could become limited and depending on size of cars and people's parking skills then could be tricky. There is no bath,just 2 showers,one in each bathroom.

It's all about an individuals preference,I like a property with a private secure garden/area on the property that allows me to let my dogs out if they need to go and there's nothing other than a narrow area down side and back of property that's more like a little alleyway,it's private belonging to this property but it's where bins are kept so every time the dogs need to go out youve got to physically take them out which when it's blowing a gale and pouring down it's the last thing you want,that's when a small area outside that's securely fenced off let's them get out do what's needed and back in but like said that's what I look for.. The only areas of the property that's carpeted is the bedrooms,the property from entrance to staircase into all the living area upstairs is wooden,I must admit I'd preferd the staircase to be at least carpeted on the top of each step as the dogs were hesitant on going up and down them and especially being wood each step creaks along with the area at top of stairs so there's no creeping up and around when others are in bed,bare in mind the main bedroom has no on suite so if others are using the second bedroom then you've either got to go into there bedroom to use toilet or go upstairs creaking away to use other,like I said its individual preference,nobody used second bedroom so wasn't a problem for us.

7 Marina view is a lovely comfortable apartment with all the facilities you need, good shower comfortable beds with a lovely view of the Marina. Great location minutes from all amenities, a good base for exploring all of the Llyn peninsula.

One of the settees needs replacing, and there is no streaming media on the TVs.

Perfect accommodation in a stunning place. Win-win!

The apartment is modern, spacious and cosy. Fully equipped and super clean. Large windows allow natural light to brighten the kitchen and living room areas, and a balcony overlooking the marina provides stunning views, with Snowdonia National Park on the background, and astonishing sunrises and sunsets to enjoy. Parking is available. Spar and Asda are at easy walking distance from the apartment if you need to go shopping. The train station and the bus station are both at about 3 minutes walk and connect Pwllheli to basically everywhere in the breathtaking Llŷn Peninsula and over, with endless possibilities to enjoy walking the costal path, go up the hills and take in the amazing sceneries, visiting picturesque villages, beaches and the countryside. Pwllheli itself is a beautiful town, well worth visiting. The locals are genuinely friendly and you can tell they have great community spirit. Other nearby towns are equally beautiful to visit if you're up to exploring different places for a day trip. I can't recommend 7 Marina View enough to be honest, I will definitely book it again in the future. Should any issue arise the owner (Chris) is very friendly and helpful to assist, which is great!

Fabulous all round, despite a few glitches . . . and we had the best weather imaginable.

Wonderful views of the Marina, sea birds and the tide ebbing and flowing, and walks along the waters edge. Surprisingly quiet location. Shops, restaurants and take-aways just round the corner. Secure parking close by. Great location to explore Wales from, wish we could have stayed for longer. Hope we will be able to come back.

Lack of two comfortable arm chairs and a small table for the terrace, like next door. Downstairs toilet that ran 24/7, wasting water. Very wobbly glass top on dining table, probably just needs screws tightening/replacing. Flush mechanism on the upstaits toilet loose. Shame about the damaged sofa fabric, although guest book says a new one is on order.

We left exhausted which is great shame as the property location was otherwise perfect.

The location for the town centre was excellent as were the views from the front of the property. It did offer value for money and the price was fair.

The big problem was the railway at the rear. every morning at 05:30 the first train started its engines just a few yards from the rear of the property. This continued for an hour until the train departed. The property vibrated and on two occasions we had to jam towels in some of the doors to stop them vibrating. To be clear the general train noise during the day was not a problem it was the engine running for an hour at 05:30 AM and vibrating the property that was the issue.

Great location for the Sailing centre and close to town for shopping without the use of the car.

Great layout, spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one on-suite) and a good kitchen with everything you need for a week. We arrived to a well cleaned property and found it easy to clean when we were packing up.

Creaking floor boards at the top of the stairs. The car park needs to have some lines painted to mark the bays plus a hatched area to prevent people parking immediately in front of the gate and making access to the rest of the parking extremely difficult (really not the owners fault but people really can be selfish)

perfect base to explore the Llyn Peninsula

very modern property with everything we needed as a comfortable base for our tour around the peninsula. it was spotlessly clean and well maintained. situated near the centre of Pwllheli. There are plenty of shops within walking distance (including 3 supermarkets) and the beach towns of Abersoch, Nefyn and Criccieth are a mere 15 to 20 minute car drive. We had a very relaxing break here.

Very disappointed by Skyes Cottages

We booked a stay last year but unfortunately COVID lockdown intervened and we were not permitted to travel. Having been promised a refund by Skyes, we are still waiting - months later. It is not possible to contact them and overall the customer service experience has been very disappointing.
