Snowdonia Mountain Lounge

Snowdonia Mountain Lounge was absolutely epic! From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely funny, which made the stay even more enjoyable and welcoming. I was really impressed by the personalised touch — my name was included in the arrival instructions, which made me feel instantly valued. Before check-in, they even sent me a personalised WhatsApp message to make sure I had all the information I needed, which was super helpful and thoughtful. The room was lovely: clean, spacious, and comfortable, with our own private toilet and two heaters, which was perfect. The sitting room is huge and very cosy, and there’s a great selection of teas available for guests, which was a lovely bonus after a day of travelling. Overall, an amazing stay, fantastic hospitality, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back or recommend this place to anyone visiting Snowdonia.

Beautiful location close to Snowdonia and with great staff and facilities.

Great location, room had the best layout of any twin room we stayed in during our 2 week trip around the U.K. and the staff there were so helpful. Cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough, my friend and were both super impressed.

The accommodation on offer in the main block is reminiscent of a motel style. Each room is self with its own entrance

Snowdon mountain lodge is set between the breathtaking peaks of Snowdonia national park and the feeling in and around the hotel mirrors the sense of calm and peacefulness one gets when walking amongst the splendour of the mountains. All of the staff that we met went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and the room was warm and comfortable with plenty of hot water for the bath and shower and I have never experienced a more comprehensive selection of teas before.

I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like about this property.

Friendly, cosy & excellent value for money

We were late arriving due to bad weather & traffic, the guy met us, showed us to our room which was lovely & warm, he made sure we were happy with everything & told us we could check out a bit later as we'd arrived late. The room was very comfortable & clean & I had the best nights sleep. We checked out & then were able to use the lounge/kitchen to eat our breakfast (which we'd brought with us). It was lovely on a wet, windy, gloomy day, so I can't imagine how great it is when the sun's shining.

The only issue we experienced was a very small one, for some reason the bathroom extractor fan would turn on randomly in the middle of the night which was quite noisy.

An amazing location! Didn’t realize we’d have access to a full kitchen, so that was great. Comfy beds, everything we needed.

Not against the property but the closest town, although large, only has takeaway, no restaurants. So we drove to Bangor to eat.

There was plenty of pots and plates in the kitchen, beautiful little flat in an ideal location. It was perfect, I could easily have just lived there. I would definitely go back again soon.

Location is perfect to hike up the main peaks of snowdonia, and easy access to various other places and tourist locations. Good communal area, and parking, friendly helpful staff.

Cleaning could be better lots of dirt under bed, looks like they are redeveloping half of the site. Maybe better mattresses/bed and drying room facilities for winter/wet weather.

Super little cottage, great location and spotlessly clean.

Great location, the Farmhouse Cottage is compact but well equipped with all of the amenities for a short stay. Spotlessly clean and looked after by lovely people. Highly recommended.

Lovely accommodation in perfect location.

Room was very basic but it did the job, as we were only staying for a few nights and was literally just using the room to sleep and wash in. Kitchen room was perfect with everything you needed if you wanted to prep food yourself, or just use it to eat your takeaway in. Staff were really friendly, helpful and informative. Loved the free yoga mat in the room, it got used every day.

A hairdryer in the room would have been a nice touch. That was the only thing the room was missing.

Beautiful location, lovely place

Perfect location if you’re hiking, lots of tracks around to choose from and close to zip world. Was super clean and quiet so after a long day of hiking and zip lining we slept for a solid 10 hours. Kitchen is fully stocked with an oven, stove top and microwave and all the other essentials and the communal kitchen/dining/lounge room was lovely.

No fan in the room when it got hot.

Really clean, staff were lovely and very helpful and the location and views are unbelievable.

There’s nothing to not like. This is a simple, basic accommodation. My only recommendation for them to change would be to put a public EV car charger in the car park. My brother needed to charge his car but could only manage the 3pin plug through his bedroom. He wasn’t too comfortable about doing this as it felt underhanded and cheeky but he had no other option as he didn’t have enough charge to get home.

Great option for self catering

Lovely welcome on arrival (...and we were late!), clean rooms with good facilities. Beds were clean and comfy. The lounge area - with kitchen, dining and sitting options for self-catering guests - was very useful and enabled us to stay on site and relax later than check out. Welcomed the dog with no extra charge

No restaurant on site. Rooms are tightly packed together - may have been a problem if more rooms were booked out. Car park ok but rutted
