Poor communication, noisy neighbor, average stay.

Good location for our needs and interests. Apartment was clean and cozy. Wood pellet heater is very efficient. Good Wifi. Nice kitchen area. There is occasional traffic on the road right outside the apartment but we didn't find it to be a problem. The road noise didn't bother us but the neighbor's music (mentioned below) did.

The host spoke almost no English although English and French are specified under Host Info. It was nearly impossible to converse on the phone. We left a voice message about 30 minutes prior to our arrival but received no response. We called two additional numbers when we arrived before finally getting a person on the line who spoke almost no English. Only after a difficult conversation were we able to access the key box. It was almost as though they were not expecting us. The first evening the neighbor played extremely loud music. On Christmas morning at 0230, again the music started. We left a message for the host concerning this but received no response. Communication was very poor. As of today, three messages have not been answered (two concerning the noise, one concerning pet fee/final city fee payment. A few items need minor repairs. 1. The microwave oven is in a cabinet and the outer door will not stay in the up (open) position. If you have a dish that requires two hands, you can not place the item in the microwave without assistance. 2. Kitchen faucet is not secure to the sink. 3. Bathroom needs more lighting. It is dark and therefore difficult to shave, etc. 4. Instructions for the oven, microwave, furnace are in French only. These should be in English also.

Pas mal de petites choses à améliorer

La clarté avec la coupole. La promenade de 6,8km. La déco. Le remplacement de la tv qui ne fonctionnait pas. Les explications par SMS du propriétaire pour le poêle à pellets qui s'est coupé. La propreté

Le bas de la douche avec des moisissures qui tombent dans le tub et une mauvaise odeur de moisis. Le manque de lumière dans la douche. Le voisin qui écoute sa musique a fond qui passe à travers les murs. On a du frapper à sa porte à 23h30 pour qu'il éteigne sa musique. Les voitures qui roulent à toute vitesse à partir de 4h du matin. Mal dormi, pas reposant. Le four qui ne fonctionne pas correctement et le bouton de droite qui nous saute dessus. Manque d'explication pour le poêle à pellets qui s'est coupé car bouché. Lave vaisselle qui ne sèche pas. On a tout essuyé à la main. Les coussins de lit pas assez confortables. Trop mous, mal à la nuque. La housse de couette, on s'emberlificotte dedans. Tissus trop fin.

Para dos personas es ideal. La cocina bien equipada.

La calefacción es una chimenea portátil de pellet, pero funciona muy bien, mucho mejor de lo esperado. También tiene un pequeño radiador de aceite portátil.

Prettig verblijf in een mooie wandelomgeving.

Prima locatie voor wandelingen in de buurt. Heel veel mogelijkheden.

De weg is overdag soms wat druk met landbouwverkeer. Wij zaten in de oogsttijd van de mais.

Super logement pour un week-end dans les Ardennes

Le logement est super pour un petit week-end dans les Ardennes. Idéal pour un séjour en couple.

Il faisait légèrement froid, mais ce n'a pas impacté notre séjour, et un poêle était présent en cas de besoin.

Viel ons eigenlijk tegen

Dat we naar de bruiloft konden van de zoon.....

We mochten om 15h inchecken en het was er te koud. Kregen de pelletkachel niet aan. De tv kregen we ook niet aan. Voor vragen kon je wel bellen maar iemand lastig vallen/storen is niet mijn ding, ook omdat ik de taal niet ken, helaas. Er stond ook niets van drinken, een simpel flesje water was al goed geweest....
