Nice cottage in beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is comfortable and well-equipped, with a very nice garden. The layout is a bit quirky, but works very well - as the lounge area is upstairs and the bedrooms are downstairs, it is possible to heat the lounge with the cosy pellet stove while keeping the bedrooms cool. The cottage is very well located for walks in the area, including to the LaChouffe brewery. This is really a quite spectacular part of the Ardennes. The owners are responsive and friendly. Before arrival we received a lot of information about the area, and also lots of instructions and rules for the use of the cottage - but they were all very reasonable.

We struggled at the beginning because our translator app was not as good, so we weren’t totally prepared (eg, we didn’t bring enough towels for everyone). The hosts were wonderful about answering my many questions.

Very good

The house is in a very quiet green location, with easy access to hiking trails near Achouffe. Kitchen was clean and very well equipped. Highly recommended if in need of a quiet and relaxing location.

- De bedden waren waanzinnig comfortabel. - De host was erg attent. - Een elektrisch laadstation (voor de auto) aan de woning. - Mooie hike mogelijkheden in de buurt.

- Het verblijf is dicht bij brouwerij La Chouffe, maar het is nog wel een flinke klim van 15/20minuten. Dit was voor ons overigens geen probleem, maar voor ouderen wel iets om rekening mee te houden.

Prima verzorgd, schoon, goed internet, lekker warm met de 2 pelletkachels en voldoende pellets voor de hele week. Een aanrader 🥂

perfecte locatie als je van rust en natuur houd, accommodatie is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien, houd rekening met de vele niveau verschillen.

Mooie locatie

Op loopafstand van Lachouffe en een mooie uitvalsbasis voor trailruns en wandelingen! De accomodatie is super schoon.

Ik heb nog nooit zo’n uitgebreid boek aan regels moeten bestuderen voor een verblijf. Hoewel de eigenaar echt heel vriendelijk was straalt het toch een basishouding van wantrouwen uit terwijl wij een super net gezin zijn. De meubels waren gedateerd en deels versleten. De trappetjes hebben geen leuning, dit is met een baby wel oppassen. Desalniettemin super leuk verblijf en zeker aan te raden!

Leuk huis, voorzien van alle gemakken

De ligging is perfect. Rustig en toch dichtbij de brouwerij van Achouffe en Houffalize. In het huisje is alles aanwezig voor je verblijf. Ook de vliegenramen overal zijn een pluspunt

Bij warm weer is het huisje moeilijk koel te houden.

Prachtige omgeving!

Locatie is zeer rustig en meteen aan een wandelpad. De omheide tuin vonden onze hondjes zeer fijn! Is Het huisje is kraaknet en gezellig.

Heerlijk verblijf!

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in het huisje van Bianca. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig en de bedden zijn al opgemaakt bij aankomst! Super fijn dat de tuin helemaal omheind is als je met hond verblijft.

Heel goede en vriendelijke gastvrouw. Alles was prima in orde en je kon alles vragen. Ruime leefruimte met gezellige kachel. Er stond zelfs een kerstboom voor deze periode, maakte alles nog wat gezelliger. De afgesloten tuin was tevens een grote plus als je met en huisdier komt.

Het huisje bevindt zich op een prima locatie. Ligt vlakbij enkele zeer mooie, bewegwijzerde mountainbike routes. Ook vlak bij een mooi dennenbos. Het huisje is comfortabel. Mooie tuin. Goede parkeermogelijkheid. Goede communicatie met host. Een aanrader.
