Villa Lara, By Five Elements

The 3 of us stayed in Villa Lara for 2weeks and it was our second home. Everything was amazing. The pool was so much bigger than we thought which was great for my 2 teenage boys. The beds are so comfy, kitchen fully equipped, fresh water topped up in the filter on request, the gardens are gorgeous with a frangipani’s to pick everyday. It was off the street down an alley so very peaceful. Close to everything we needed : cafes, shops, beach. The staff were amazing. Ivan was a message away from anything we needed. The cleaning staff came every 2 days and were just beautiful. The pool was cleaned and cleared regularly too. The whole energy of Villa Lara is just amazing. Relaxing and rejuvenating. We couldn’t have had a better time!! We’ll be back for sure! Thank you Ivan for everything. You’re an absolute legend!!

There honestly was nothing I can point out. It was all so great.

The housekeeper and security guard waited for us even with our 1 a.m. delayed arrival. The paid airport transfer was reasonably priced, and the driver remained calm on Bali’s narrow, motorcycle-filled roads, which made us feel at ease.The 3 bedrooms can accommodate up to 6 people (we had 3, but it’s perfect for families). All rooms have TVs with pre-paid streaming, the kitchen has more utensils than my home, and the bathroom features a cozy stone-floor shower.The pool is picture-perfect, clean (regularly filtered), and available day and night. The courtyard has frangipani trees—you can just pick fresh flowers! 24-hour security also brings peace of mind.It’s just steps away from restaurants and a straight walk to the beach. Finns Club (a popular spot) is right at the end of the street.

I can’t think of any obvious aspects that need improvement—everything was quite perfect.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in deze accommodatie op Bali. De kamers zijn ruim en comfortabel, met voldoende ruimte zowel binnen als buiten om te ontspannen. Het zwembad is heerlijk en wordt goed onderhouden – perfect voor verkoeling op warme dagen. Wat het verblijf extra bijzonder maakte, was het ontzettend vriendelijke personeel. Altijd paraat om te helpen of advies te geven, zonder opdringerig te zijn. Ook een groot compliment aan de host, die erg gastvrij en attent was. De locatie is ideaal: de villa zelf ligt in een rustige omgeving, maar zodra je de straat op loopt, zit je meteen in het levendige en bruisende Bali. De perfecte balans tussen ontspanning en activiteit. Wij zouden deze plek zonder twijfel aanraden en hopen zelf in de toekomst nog eens terug te komen!

Kunne vært nærmere stranda men var ikke noe problem for oss siden vi tok grab bike som var veldig billig
