Napule...è apartments

- Easy communication on arrival - Very central location, in the middle of the city (yes, shopping street busy), but therefore vibrant - Has most that one needs in an apartment - Very spacious. 2 bedrooms, easy for a 2x2 person stay - Decent beds, enough storage/closet space - Washing machine very convenient - 1 airco in central hallway available (although not needed/tested in April)

It's a bit dated and has many small things that could just be better: - Just not that clean. Quite some cobwebs left and right - Curtains too long, hanging on the floor, initial smell a bit musty until we aired it all out - Pigeon's nesting next to the main bedroom window, which therefore couldn't open - Low on cleaning supplies - Some wall outlets hanging out the wall/uncovered - Door only closed with the key - Quite dark inside given all window shutters Known in advance, but there's no dedicated parking. Paid parking is a 2 minute walk away. And a main one, pro or con depending on your goal; it's part of the building, owned by and right above the Napule è bar. Which plays loud music 6/7 days. During weekdays from the later afternoon until 00:30 at very noticable volume, in the weekends plainly loud until 02:00. We liked the music choice (SA deep house, amapiano, some old school hiphop and Italian classics) and the bar itself is great (definitely pay it a visit). But you'll hear the music almost as loudly in the apartment as in the bar. So the apartment is not the best place for a quiet stay and/or with young children. If you like a more active vibe, go for it.
