My husband and I enjoyed the breakfast spread most of all! The breads and coffee were the best. The hotel was also a close walk to the plaza where there were food stalls, souvenir shops, restaurants, and a Catholic Church. The tram station was also in the Plaza where passengers may take a ride around town. There are also nearby bars or resto bars under the bridge. One early morning, my husband and I took a stroll from the Hotel to the nearby market and train station. A drunken man approached us and talked to us in Spanish. Although he did not harm us, we were startled. It is best not to roam the area late at night or in the early mornings.

It was quiet and restful even in the active Bairro Alto! Staff most helpful and they parked me in front of the hotel making it really easy. I'll be back!

Very central hotel, beautifully decorated. Rooms are a good size, breakfast is delicious and they have a peruvian/japanese fusion dinner restaurant.
