About this cabin rental
Lakefront cabin on Shadow Mountain Lake located in beautiful Grand Lake, Colorado. This 4,500 SF Cabin has vaulted 20 ft cedar wood ceilings with amazing lake and mountain views. Multiple decks with seating that includes a private Hot Tub overlooking Shadow Mountain Lake and RMNP mountains. The cabin offers the warm feeling of a rustic lodge with the characteristics of old Grand Lake charm. 4 bedrooms snd 3 full bathrooms. Sleeps 14.
There are two main entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park. Estes Park is the East entrance and Grand Lake is the West entrance. *This Cabin is located in Grand Colorado, not Estes Park. Please note before booking!*
MAIN FLOOR: The layout of the home is perfect for families and entertaining. The kitchen, dining and living room are an open floor plan with amazing views of the beautiful Colorado Rockies. Across the lake you can see the East Shore trail in Rocky Mountain National Park. Bedroom with 2 Queen size beds and bathroom on the main floor.
UPPER FLOOR: The Upper Level offers guests a loft area for good family game time. The MASTER SUITE features a King Size log bed, private balcony with breath taking views of Shadow Mountain Lake.
There is an additional Queen bed and a desk and office chair. The master bath has a large soaker tub and shower. Shampoo, Conditioner and Body wash provided in all bathrooms.
BOTTOM FLOOR: There are 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom downstairs and a family room with TV and large leather sectional. There is also an additional kitchen area with small refrigerator, microwave and oven which is perfect for guests with larger families.

BEDROOM 2: Main Floor 2 Queen Size log beds with Bedroom.
BEDROOM 3: Bottom Floor offers 2 Queen Size log beds with direct access to lower deck and hot tub.
BEDROOM 4: Bottom Floor offers 2 Single Size log beds.
BOTTOM FLOOR BATHROOM: offers guest 2 vanities and larger shower.
Outside parking for up to 4 cars is available.

The Bison Lodge was a great venue in a fabulous lake front location for our extended family and friends to gather for our son's wedding at the AA Barn. This comfortable and well appointed home provided ample space for communal meals, yet retreat space for privacy and personal recreation on the lake. If constructive critique is allowed, I suggest more/better lighting in the master closet and vanity ceiling lights in master bath either did not work or the bulbs were burnt out. I suggest a table lamp for the mail level bedroom. And, replace the twin bed slats with properly measured slats. All were too short for the bed frames. Mattress fell through on one bed and the mattress on the other was being held up by concrete blocks. Repair the broken dock. These few improvements would enhance the overall positive experience we had. Thank you.
