Quiet lake retreat, ready for your enjoyment! This cottage is perfectly placed right across the street from Lake Taneycomo. Enjoy the feel of a lakefront cottage with updated amenities!
There is no better place to be. Plan a perfect getaway at Rockaway Beach. Enjoy all the area has to offer or head into Branson (11 Miles away) for all the fun filled activities of Branson!
You will have an adorable cottage to spend your downtime in after all the activities of the day. This home features a nicely equipped kitchen, and a cozy space to hang out and relax. Step out outside and take in the sounds of the lake and the amazing views from our outdoor seating area.

Bedroom has one Queen size bed.
STOCKED ITEMS
All of our properties are stocked with a starter kit for toiletries and kitchen supplies. We aim to meet the essentials for your stay, but anything beyond what is listed below (or if you plan to have a large group/long stay) you will need to provide for your stay.
Kitchen: Coffee, Sugar, Coffee Filters, Salt and Pepper, Potholders, Dish soap, Dishwasher pods, Hand Soap, Kitchen Hand towels and dishcloths, Paper towels, Trash Bags
Toiletries: Shampoo, Conditioner, Body wash, Hand Soap, Towels, Toilet Paper, Trash bags, Make up wipes, Deodorizer spray, Tissue.
All linens will be provided as well as laundry detergent.
The Neighborhood:
This adorable cottage sits right on Lake Taneycomo, make sure to bring your fishing license & poles! Enjoy some local dinner at 'The Pizza Cellar' just two blocks away and check out 'White River Coffee' on your way out for your daily adventures!
Other Things to Note:
**This property is pet friendly. A one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $100 is required. This fee covers up to two dogs. VRBO & Airbnb bookings can add pets in the guest count area, all other booking sites must contact us to pay fee separately.
**Freedom complies with all ADA regulations and welcomes Registered Service Animals. ESA's (Emotional Support Animals) are allowed at this property but still incur the $100 pet fee.
**Registered Service Animal requirements: 1 - The service animal may not be left alone in/around the property. 2 - The service animal must be on a leash when outside. 3 - Owners are required to pick up all pet waste.
**No cats allowed. For all other pets please contact us.
**Minimum booking age is 21.

The cabin was delightful with beautiful views. Very clean and we enjoyed the covered porch with a view of the lake. Great response from the host/owner.

The cottage was exactly like the pictures showed. The Host was very good about answering questions and quick to respond. The covered porch/deck was a big plus for us. The only con if any was that the cottage sits on a steep incline, but we managed that ok. There are four steps, but they are not steep and they are wide and very easy to use.

The cabin was exactly what the inside pictures showed. The outside needs a little work. I do see that they are fixing the resort up and the town looks like it is on its way of being renovated.

The pros: accurate listing
Cute little cottage
Close to the water
Sufficient kitchen supplies
Comfortable bed
Good water pressure
The fridge was immaculate
Linens were clean
Mostly clean-minus what is mentioned in the con list
The cons: shower starting to mold in the seams
Floor not deeply cleaned, took off our shoes at first and our socks we’re disgusting and covered in hair within minutes
Looked under the bed and there were piles of hair, another indication of no deep cleaning
The split unit right above the bed is noisy.
The drive way/parking spot was incredibly steep
For the price it was what you would expect. We felt comfortable staying there. Next time we would spend a little more money to stay else where. The host was quick to respond when we thought there was a plumbing problem. But was uncommunicative for days when we asked questions about an early checkout. In the end when they finally responded they were nice enough to refund 1 night stay which I was very happy about since it was not required of them. We ended up needing to leave 2 days earlier than we had anticipated.
