Situated in the heart of Kennebunkport, this marina-front property offers an unbeatable location. Step out and explore shops and restaurants, with Federal Jacks just next door. A short drive takes you to all the Kennebunk beaches, making it an ideal spot for a memorable vacation by the water.
As you arrive, the traditional Captain’s House welcomes you, overlooking the Kennebunk marina. Each morning, wake up to the sight of lobster boats and the sun dancing on the water.
Inside, the spacious open-concept kitchen and dining area are perfect for a classic Maine Lobster Bake or a cozy family game night. Enjoy a separate breakfast nook for your morning coffee or a quiet read, with views of boats passing by.
The large living room features a gas fireplace, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploration or beach activities. Sink into the comfortable couches and enjoy a movie or your favorite summer show.
On the main level, you'll find a convenient half bathroom with a washer and dryer, perfect for keeping sandy beach towels from tracking through the house.
Upstairs, discover four bedrooms. The primary bedroom offers a king bed and stunning ocean views, while a junior primary bedroom also boasts water views. Two double twin rooms, and two identical full bathrooms complete this level.

We had a great time at Doanes Wharf! The house is in a perfect location to walk into Kennebunkport. Also short drive to the beach. The house was clean, stocked with basic supplies, and layout was great for two families of 4. Great yard for games. Grocery shopping service is amazing! The marina is busy and there are a lot of people around the house and yard. This didn’t bother us but something to consider. Our only wish was that the windows on the first floor would open. They are original to the house and difficult to operate, torn screens etc. No AC on first floor. Overall it was a great vacation!!

Overall the rental house was comfortable and accommodating. Great view of the marina and the boats coming and going. Only footsteps from town where there is plenty of shopping and restaurants. Location is nice because it’s central to attractions south towards York and north towards Portland. Nice if you have a large family as there is plenty of room for 8 to sleep.
Parking was a bit of an issue, as the marina fills up on the weekend. Because of the location it is still a desirable place to stay
