This newly available, beautifully decorated 2,700+ sq. ft. private pool/spa home is just 1.8 miles from Nokomis Public Beach and perfect for a relaxing vacation. With two king bedrooms and one queen bedroom, the home accommodates up to six adults, ideal for three couples. The spacious, split-floor plan includes a large master suite with direct access to the private saltwater pool and spa, which is enclosed in a screened lanai. The master suite also features a luxurious en-suite bath with a soaking tub and dual showerheads. The other two bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the home, ensuring privacy for all guests.
The home’s outdoor space is a true highlight, featuring a Tiki bar that seats six, multiple covered seating areas, and a beautifully landscaped backyard. The property backs onto a saltwater canal with a kayak launch, offering easy access to local bays and wildlife. The well-appointed kitchen is perfect for preparing meals, with two dining areas—one casual, overlooking the pool, and one formal with seating for six.
Additional amenities include WiFi, two Smart TVs with cable, beach gear, and driveway parking for up to four vehicles. The home is pet-friendly for one well-behaved dog (with prior approval and a pet fee). Beautiful home, great location, very clean. We enjoyed being able to go to the beach and then returning and jumping into the pool. Perfect!

The house is very nice, but... A few caveats:1. The fridge stopped cooling one evening just after our kids/grandkids arrived, with the freezer full. Obviously a major concern for us, but we were told that no one would come out after hours to look at it and we should "buy a bag of ice". Note: a new fridge arrived on the day we left, but was damaged and was returned.2. The barbecue has no light anywhere nearby, so cooking after dusk (6:30 pre DST) is a challenge.3. We were concerned about the neighbourhood as it definitely looks a bit sketchy so we requested to use the alarm system on the house (old but likely functional). The owner apparently refused. We then asked for a "hotel safe" which costs about 130. Again, the owner refused. On our last couple of days we had the Sheriff's Deputies next door investigating a vehicle break in and theft and asked us to check our vehicle parked in the driveway. We had asked on arrival if we could park in the empty side of the garage. You guessed it - the owner refused.4. Aside from all that, the Property Management Group (iTrip) was excellent with communications and I would recommend them highly. We would not rent this property again.
