Cosy little hideaway in Bay town.

The location is great. In the lower bay, nice view over the stream, lovely little spot outdoors for morning coffee in good weather. Very close to everything, 5 min walk to the beach. Perfect for the pubs. We stayed in January and were lovely and warm .

The cottage is lovely, the only thing I would change is the size of the bathroom, it’s very cozy, but does the job.

Had a lovely stay

Lovely location we enjoyed the small terrace overlooking the beck, comfortable bed. I think it had been renewed as other reviews stated the mattress was lumpy. Nice and clean throughout . Nice touch of having shampoo conditioner and shower gel.

Could do with redecorating in places , Futon style sofa was extremely uncomfortable, it sagged so much we could feel the wooden frame, had to put cushions on the seats to sit. Bath towels were very worn and rough. No welcome pack as advertised photos show.

This cottage was the perfect place to stay for our holiday.

Location was amazing. Very clean and everything we needed was provided. We didn’t need to contact the host, but she gave her details at the beginning of the stay which was good, knowing if I had an issue it could be fixed.

Lovely location and small terrace, some comfort things to factor in

Location is brilliant, centre of town but off the street so quiet, along the beck (river) so peaceful and green. Small terrace overlooking the beck is lovely. Flat has everything you need.

Couch is not the most comfortable thing, neither are the chairs on the terrace. The cottage is a very old building so it's maybe 90% of modern dimensions in most places, if you're tall you'll feel that a little in the shower (but it's fine, just a bit tight). I think possibly slightly more expensive than it could have been, but we did book late and in summer.

Fantastic location

Thank you to Emma who kept in touch and allowed us access to the cottage that little bit earlier. Cottage in a fantastic location and had everything you needed for your stay.

The pictures need updating as it shows an outdoor area with seating but actually this area was described in the cottage booklet as an in accessible area. The area we did have was a small concrete area that we couldn’t use as the dog wandered into the inaccessible areas, which are the areas shown in the booking.com pictures. The pictures also show a welcome hamper giving the impression that was included but it’s not.

Perfect get away

The location is fantastic, the cottage is really quirky and homely , a lovely little terrace to sit out and have a coffee overlooking a beck and lovely greenery. Everything you need , towels, toilet rolls hair dryer, bedding, toiletries, wash up liquid and all washing up materials. The owner very informative and quick to reply if do have a question , kept up to date at all times , like when cottage is ready for you etc..
