Layout of the cottage, good size for a family with dogs. The location was great and the small garden was a real jewel in the crown.
Water pressure affected the shower power on the top floor. The main bathroom toilet seat needs replacing.

The property is a well equipped and spacious house very close to the main action of the slipway in the village. You have to be mobile and it is not easily accessible for anyone with walking challenges - even getting down to the main village and then the many steps that are around. the house took a wee bit of finding so a little map might be good but the tiny alleyways and the layered up village are part of its charms. We do swim and so you do have to walk round to a little beyond the Boggle Hole for a good clear beach but the views at all times are stunning. It should be made clear to all that a parking permit for the week is required on top of the cost of the accommodation (£63 for a 6 night stay)
We loved the AGA and the coffee machine (bean to cup) was good.
All good. the Parking info would have avoided a wee shock on first arrival.
As there is a part about a beach later, just an explanation that the beach at the Bay is dramatic and good to walk on a low tide - right along the coast but not good for swimming.
For that you have to go an area just before Boggle Hole at lowish tide so you can see where you are going or a larger clear beach beyond the Boggle Hole - just being aware of the tide but this is the safest area.

The location and it was very comfortable

Great location
Check in time (5.00) is later than most and inconvenient when travelling a fair distance, and check out time (9.00) if far to early . Feels a bit of a rip off when you’re paying for that first day and only getting an evening, this would put me off staying here again. More loo rolls would be also good and there was no internet service.

quaint historical fishing village
Accessibility horrendous for anyone with mobility issues- we were not informed about this before booking - i do not recommend this for anyone who cannot walk up / down a very steep hill ! there is absolutely no where to park to drop off or pick up although it states there is ! the area was always full ! the driver of the vehicle must be an absolute professional driver who can reverse round hair pin bends !!!

Stayed here a few times before. Always clean and tidy. Gorgeous aga oven. Has everything you need in the property. Close to everything.
No parking permit as mentioned and when we went to the school how we were ‘greeted’ by who I think lives there, dismissed us that if there’s no one on reception she could help.
No wifi code in information book (see photo) and we’d read it cover to cover …. but I’d got on from the last time I was there luckily and shred it with the others

Spacious, clean and great location. Loved the aga and having a washing machine and dish washer. The bathrooms were great - showers were perfect. Fantastic huge kitchen table for us all to gather around for family meals.
Really thin, cheap quality bin bags provided that split when you tried to take them out.

Comfort in the rooms and the facilities were good along with the layout suited our needs. Location was great, so would definitely book again.
In the top floor bathroom, there seemed to be a leak which resulted in water on the floor, which then had stained it.

Is in an ideal place for unloading the car
There was no information about how to use all the electricity appliances, aga and storage heaters
The dishwasher wasn’t working.
Please may l request a shower mat for the bath.

Very very spacious and well set out for a family. Excellent to have a little garden.
Nit picking - but maybe updated oven?

First floor bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. Having a parking permit was very useful as public car park gets full very quickly.
Lack of information regarding access to the house and Wi-Fi. House smelt very bad due to the damp and mould that was in the lounge in various places and couldn't get rid of. No water coming through the hot tap in the ensuite for the whole of the stay. Ensuite basin is impractical as is placed under the eaves. Both ovens weren't working, until we fixed one.

The location was perfect and the cottage was very quaint. It was clean and comfortable with a lovely kitchen/communal space. We really enjoyed our stay and would book again
There was a lack of a few basic essentials, eg hand soap, toilet roll, dishwasher tablets etc. We had to go out and get these. We also had to call for the wifi code on the first day. The shower in the main bathroom was difficult to turn to shower mode, seems to be missing a part possibly

Cottage smelled of cigarette smoke.

great location - spacious kitchen and lounge for large group. we had a fantastic stay and the check in process was very easy with the lockbox.
Minor details to be improved: the single bedroom had a funny smell and there were noticeable cobwebs in the bathroom. The bathroom blind needs replacing. We couldn’t find the wifi password.

lovely property at a lovely location. nice and clean. was very pleasant.
on the website it was unclear if there was any parking. sent a message to host but no answer. once we got there, in the welcome booklet we discovered there was parking. would have been nice to have this information beforehand.
