Nothing!

Cost and perfect location
Nothing to comment really… maybe the pillows too hard.

Cute little cottage, well appointed. Sweet view over the rooftops from the top room. Village is very picturesque. Leave the car at the top of the hill and walk in through winding cobbled paths. Characterful pub next door. Great for walks on beach and Moores. Good beaches to find semi-precious JET - created from fossilised monkey puzzle trees!
I prefer a softer pillow and warmer bedding. I struggled to get a consistent temperature from the shower - but my daughter managed fine - so guess I was just unlucky (after my November dip in the ocean). Internal stairs are typically steep and narrow so not the best choice for someone with limited mobility. Beware of parking - can be a challenge.

It’s the most fabulous location , spotless clean, compact but cosy. The owner has thought of everything from coffee and washing up liquid to board games and blankets. I bet it’s beautiful in winter with the log burner on. I wish it had said on Booking.Com that all of that was provided as I carried it all down that hill ! Disappointing that non of my questions were answered on here regarding what to take. The owner replied to each message immediately. Perfect !
Absolutely nothing - it’s dark as some reviews say but that’s what you’d expect when it’s so old. Who wants a bright modern apartment in an old smuggling village anyway? Wi-Fi info in the book needs updating as it’s incorrect.

The owner thought of everything, even a magnifying mirror, which is a must for me, when applying make up. The cottage is small but it’s 400 years old, and I think the owner has done a fab job. The bed is the comfiest we have slept on. Robin Hoods Bay is one of the nicest places we have been, the hill is steep to walk down to the bay, it’s a killer coming back up, but it’s worth it,
There was nothing not to like, quite a few steps up to the property, so not great if you struggle walking, my husband needs to use a stick, but we took out time

Liked the lovely comfy bed loved the fire
That there was only one Tv should definitely have one more in one of the bedrooms, as we where a family of 4 with our sons being nearly 16 and 17 and would have been better for them to have another Tv

The views and the fact the beach was only a walk away

Within walking distance of everything
The pillow were smelly and the overall feel of the property was dirty and worn - the outside of the property was a massive let down, dark and dirty - wouldn’t stay again

Great location.Walks from cottage exhausting but well worth doing .Amazing views .Beautiful place .Great cozy little pubs.Victoria hotel seemed very welcoming and staff were consistently friendly to all.
Very hard to find places to eat as small and mostly fully booked. Some venues staff were not particularly friendly .Happy to take your money but that's it.Even though we were childless and dogless we noticed dogs were welcome but children were not!!

Wi-Fi unreliable for the price

Great location for beach, shop, pubs cafes on doorstep, bigger towns easy drive or bus.
Property had everything needed,
A little small for 4 (largish adults, in fact of our booking did not stay as felt a little claustrophobic )
not necessary a host problem but neighbour’s security light comes on and off all through the night so illuminates bedroom , maybe a thicker curtain needed .

the location was perfect. the cottage was ideal size for a couple. lovely and clean
Having a parking permit in the car park across from the cottage would be ideal

The location was amazing.
The stay was marred by an infestation of moths in the top bedroom, which was upsetting for my daughter and affected her sleep. We left a night early as a result.

WI-FI code wouldn’t work No parking permit for the lower car park.

A quaint and cosy cottage. Lit the log fire, due to it being cold outside hence added to the cosy feel. The location was great. Comfortable bed.
Lack of any view

Location was superb
Far too small for 4 people .. cooking was difficult as the amenities within were not great. Another group within our family at the same time as us stayed in a 4 bedroom cottage 2 baths spacious - laundry facilities and stayed for 3 nights paid less than we did. Pricing is too high for the property and facilities

Location,
Lack of flexibility on arrival and leave times. Being asked to strip beds and be out by 10am is a bit cheeky.
