Hostel Comfort

First of all, there is a reception entrance right next to the main entrance of the hostel building, where I checked in. The check-in system is very convenient — you can complete the check-in process on your phone using a QR code. Even if you don’t have internet access, you can connect to the Wi-Fi there. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. They greeted me nicely and were very helpful. After completing the check-in, I was given a card for both the main entrance of the building and the hostel entrance. The same card opens both doors. When I entered the hostel for the first time, it smelled very nice and was quite clean. The hostel has two rooms. The beds are bunk beds with curtains for privacy. My bed was very clean, and so were the sheets. There is an electrical outlet next to every bed. I had read some comments saying that the beds were uncomfortable and made noise, but my bed was completely quiet and comfortable. The rooms are also properly ventilated and aired out regularly. I was also given a key for a locker, although I didn’t use it. There are two bathrooms in the hostel, each with a shower. The bathrooms were quite clean, and the floors and toilets were clean as well. The hostel also has a kitchen and a common sitting area. The kitchen is located at the entrance and has a microwave for heating food, although there is no stove. Cutlery such as forks, spoons and knives is provided, as well as glasses. The common room has sofas, tables and chairs, a refrigerator, and a coffee machine. It’s not bad at all. Considering the price, I think the service and facilities provided are very good. Overall, I had a positive experience and feel that you get good value for your money.

The downsides of the hostel When I read some of the other reviews, I noticed that people had complained about cleanliness. However, during my stay, I had no issues with cleanliness at all. The beds were clean, the sheets were clean, and the floors were clean as well. Some reviews also mentioned that the beds were noisy. When I looked at my bed, I noticed that a thin wooden support had been installed along the length of the bed to prevent it from making noise. It actually worked quite well, and I didn’t experience any noise when turning over in bed. Overall, I would like to emphasize that, considering the price I paid, the service and facilities I received were very good. In my opinion, you get excellent value for your money.

The rooms are okay but the property is old.

The stairs and the compound are quite old and could use some renovation. The luggage storage area could also be better organized and maintained.
