Bienvenue chez Coco

De verhuurders zijn ontzettend lieve mensen die ons stonden op te wachten bij aankomst. Ze hebben ons het hele appartement hebben laten zien en legden uit wat er in de omgeving te doen was. Ze spreken zelf alleen Frans en een beetje Engels, maar met behulp van de vertaalfunctie op hun telefoon konden we elkaar goed begrijpen. Het appartement is erg ruim en ziet er keurig uit. Wij bleven hier 1 nachtje omdat we op doorreis waren. Er rijden gratig bussen naar het strand, wij hebben hier geen gebruik van gemaakt maar zouden dit een volgende keer wel doen omdat parkeren bij het strand bijna niet te doen is in het hoogseizoen.

Location location location. Just a couple of blocks to the town square/tourist office/ main attractions. Excellent access to beautiful jogging routes. Walking distance to the spectacular beach, Malo-les-bains. Dunkirk is SO rich in history as well. Dynamo Museum is also nearby. The apartment was an excellent home base for my week-long stay. Plenty of room, well-equipped kitchen, made good use of laundry facilities, loved the wide range of extras provided by Jacques and Corinne (good coffee, ironing board, free wifi, reading lamps on each side of bed, etc. Very clean, very comfortable overall. Travelled alone, and felt safe the entire stay. The decor is fresh and modern, although the apartment still has plenty of character and historical charm.

Perhaps an outside space (which is in the works for next year some time, I understand !)
