About this house rental

To discover on Dunkerque this magnificent home T4 of 90 m2 with garage.
Built in 2014 in the new district (Le Grand Large).

Located 300m from the beach of Malo baths (direct access by a footbridge).

Many activities are available at first: an Olympic municipal swimming pool, cinema, museum, bike rental, windsurfing, water sports, hiking trail, fishing, beach bar and disco, etc.

Shuttle on the dike of Malo, transport in the city center of Dunkirk everything is completely free!

The city center of Dunkirk has many large sign.
At 500m from the house is the KURSAAL (carnival ball and show) and the casino of Dunkerque.

The house is fully equipped:

Upstairs has 3 bedrooms all with an LED TV, 140cm double bed, wardrobe + storage. A bathroom with tub and on the same floor a large dressing room. Cot possible clarified in advance !!

    We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is large enough and has everything you need. It's only a 6 minute walk to the beach, perfect for a quick dip. The only minor criticisms are the squeaky doors and the creaky stairs. On the whole, an absolute recommendation.

    Lack of comfort. Only a downstairs WC which is not explicit/clear in the description. Creaky stairs which can be heard throughout the night as needed to go downstairs to the only toilet. Creaky uncomfortable beds. Worn out furniture. Old and cheap bed linen. Holes in one set. Dirty skirting boards, stairs, shower curtain. No towels provided. Bare light bulbs. A feeling of a purely functional money making holiday let with no thought of making the property comfortable in any way. One of the worse properties we have stayed in. I have taken pictures if anyone wishes to upload them ?

    Property opposite building site so noisy. Furniture shabby, plates, cutlery cluttered and chipped. Toilet on the ground floor so have to negotiate round wooden stairs in the night. The place needs more storage in the bedrooms and a larger mirror. Bedside shelves are tiny and loose. Well situated, good parking.

    Good location and well-maintained apartment
    The apartment is fairly new or recently renovated; in either case, the walls and floor are in great condition. All the electrical items work and plumbing does too. In fact, we really liked the bathroom as the shower is large and there is plenty of hot water. The kitchen is well-stocked with plates, utensils, and cookware. Everything really is as described in the VRBO write-up. It is located just a few minutes walk from the Plage de Malo-les-Bains and the Operation Dynamo museum; it is perhaps a 30 minute walk to the East Mole. There are a number of restaurants at the nearby Plage and at the small boat docks. A display of props used in filming the movie "Dunkirk" is also nearby, just a 15 minute walk. Didier Vanoverfeldt, the owner, is very cordial and provides helpful information personally and on a Google map download so his clients can locate things like attractions and a supermarket. He refunds the security/damage deposit immediately upon looking over the apartment. Didier is a good guy, the apartment is clean, well-located, and reasonably priced, and we recommend both to travelers.
