Prudence was there to assist with luggage and hand over the keys—very professional and kind. Mellisa, the host, was simply exceptional. She made our stay feel like a home away from home. Always available to assist, she was courteous, and it didn't feel like a transaction; she truly hosted us without intrusion. I was particularly grateful for the courtesy cake she sent through on my birthday, it was a generous touch!!

From the very beginning, the booking process was seamless and communication with the host was exceptional. The host went above and beyond by surprising us with two birthday cakes to celebrate our special occasions – such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more memorable.
The house itself is absolutely immaculate, beautifully maintained, and cleverly equipped with every amenity you could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home.
A special mention must go to Prudence, who was incredibly accommodating and attentive throughout our stay. Her warmth and helpfulness added so much to the overall experience.
We loved every moment of our time at Shaka’s Rock and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Ballito
