Nice cozy room Venus

I had a great stay that was exactly what I needed. Last minute, my partner joined me on a trip to London to see Gaga, and I absolutely loved how close the location was to the O2. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Honestly, it was the best stay I’ve had in London in the past 12 years. I’ve stayed in rooms costing up to £200 per night for shows and holidays, but this was extremely affordable and conveniently close. Because of the location, we felt safe and were able to travel back and forth to the O2 for as little as £10–15 before and after the show. It saved us so much time, which we could then spend enjoying other lovely activities.

I’m sharing a few notes for future guests and the owner. Despite some details, I would still rate this stay a 10. The bathroom and toilet room are quite small, but still better than what I’ve experienced in many expensive London hotels. Noise levels can be high due to airplanes and nearby schools, but with the windows closed it’s manageable. The house itself is older but well maintained, and the area is very nice with great access to buses and the tube. The room felt a little crowded with all the furniture, and we did notice some long black hairs around. The pillows didn’t smell very fresh, and there were some feathers scattered around, probably from the pillows, which wasn’t very pleasant. On the positive side, all essentials were provided and even more. I especially appreciated the high-quality, silent fan which made the nights very comfortable. Just to note: this isn’t a luxury holiday spot, but it’s a very pleasant stay with a lovely view from the window. Cleanliness could be improved, especially in the shower and the creaky bath, but overall it was a very good experience.

The check-in was easy and the communication with the Host excellent!

The room was clean, the bed was really confortable and we had even towels. We were able to sleep with the window open, since the neighborhood was really quiet. The bathroom and the kitchen were also clean and organized.

O quarto é super confortável, a cozinha tem tudo o que é necessário incluindo a máquina de lavar que foi uma salvadora na nossa viagem. Khalid é um anfitrião super receptivo e muito disponível, nos deu dicas de lugares pra comer e fazer compras. Depois que aprendemos as conexões pra chegar na acomodação, ficou muito mais fácil ir e vir. Fica muito próximo de pontos de ônibus e do DLR. A cama era super confortável e era difícil sair dela de manhã :)

A única questão com a acomodação é mais estrutural mas era completamente relevante. Tem apenas um lavabo e uma casa de banho, então dependendo da hora que você queira usar o banheiro, talvez fique um pouco competitivo. Os banheiros também ficam no segundo andar da casa, não é o nosso caso, mas se tiver problemas de subir e descer escadas, talvez seja uma questão.

Host approachable and good communication, toilet and shower room clean all the time,location ok

As i mentioned to host , bed wasnt changed,was full of hair on the sheets and asked him to see with his own eyes. Gave me a clean set of bedsheets and i ve changed my bed. Must mention that duvet was very dirty, could see its never been washed,as edges were almost black but i was there for only one night and extremely tired so i was happy at least the duvet cover was clean. Maybe could do some management checks on housekeeping before guests will be checked in. Toilet is separate from shower room and have no sink and must wait for that location to be vacant to wash your hands after. But they were very clean all the time .
