It was quiet, clean, spacious, and provided everything needed (and more.)

The code I was given for the lockbox was wrong (sent by email upon booking) so I had to phone the owner at 9:30pm to get the correct code which isn’t ideal as it was freezing cold and I had just travelled a very long way

Ok for a stop over

It was convenient for a 1 night stop over. Once we had overrided the heating settings, it was cosy.

They were very strict on checkin time, they refused a checkin request after 10pm, however checkin just involved letting ourselves into the house with a key from a lock box, so in fact we could have checked in just as easily nearer to midnight which is what we wanted. We could have avoided a detour just to pick up the keys. We fully understand the concerns around neighbours being annoyed with noise, but we were no quieter or noisier when we did get in around midnight. I was slightly concerned that the boiler and pipework was fully exposed in my son's bedroom. He's old enough to understand and not touch, but might have been different if much younger. The boiler was noisy though for him during the night. The house wasn't as clean as it could have been. Overall I wouldn't have wanted to stay here for more than a couple of nights.

Great place to stay when visiting Hereford

The property was in an excellent location for shops, bars, restaurants and the riverside. It was quaint, very secure, comfortable and a lovely size for us as a couple.

A couple of areas needed a little more attention to detail with regard to cleaning.

Lovely little stayaway

Lovely location, easy to find, welcome basket on arrival, clean and welcoming environment. Comfy beds, warm, quiet surroundings, close to town, secure and private.

The shower needed safe cracking precision to border the line between scalding and cold, but once set it was still lovely to use. Not an issue for the duration of the stay.

Really nice place and location. The host was very accommodating.

Very good location. Comfy beds and sofa. Lovely garden space and pleasant neighbours. The host rang me in the morning to say the place was ready so we could get in earlier than anticipated. Great.

Would like to have had a non slip mat in the bath when using the shower. Also no bath mats for the bathroom floor, so we had to use towels, sorry. No washing up liquid so we had to put the dishwasher on for a handful of glasses and cups. Could have done with an extra comfy chair with the sofa as there were 4 of us.

Fantastic Central Location in Hereford

What a fabulous place. So central to Hereford and a lovely pub on the river just around the corner. The house was beautifully clean and welcoming. We were welcomed with milk, snacks etc, which was a really lovely touch.

Nothing to be disappointed with at all, except the gate was a little difficult to get through. However, the host notified us of that in advance.

Great property in perfect location.

The location is brilliant for easy walking access into Hereford. The property was very clean, spacious enough for our group of 4 adults + 2 dogs, and was perfectly equipped with every need a catered for during our short stay.

Perfect retreat.

The property and garden looked so pretty from outside. Inside, it was clean and modern and had all facilities we could need. The location was yards from the start of the town centre and was literally on the banks of the river with amazing views. The owners gave us all the information we needed to just turn up but were only a phone call away if needed. There was even a bottle of milk in the fridge for us. There were lovely walks for our dogs right outside the grounds. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

The lockbox containing the keys to the property was a bit fiddly but that's really scraping the barrel to find something not to like and it could have been because my husband and I are a pair of idiots😉

Great location.

Loved the location and parking opposite. The house was very clean and had very good facilities. Milk in the fridge for a cup of tea and snacks which was a nice touch . Would definitely stay there again.

There was nothing we didn't like. The house was cold but there was central heating if you needed it. We never attempted to use it as we were mainly out.
