ExVila Lobos

The villa was nice, great views, and a good little pool. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were good.

The road to the villa is extremely steep and scary to drive. It is a 15 mins walk into the centre of town and a very steep walk back. The villa needs a bit of maintenance; loose door handles and wall sockets, broken sun loungers, missing or loose tiles in the 'cloudy' pool, a cracked window in the lounge, missing light bulbs etc. The hosts were difficult to deal with. We either had no response to our messages or were asked to pay by bank transfer in advance. We refused to pay until we had the keys. They said they would meet us but the keys were in a key safe.

Super umístění ubytování s úžasným výhledem, prostorný a dostačujícím způsobem vybavený dům, příjemné venkovní posezení s krbem, venkovním WC a bazénem - místo nás naprosto nadchlo. Navíc dobrá dostupnost k moři i do centra městečka.

Koupelny a kuchyně nebyly příliš dobře uklizeny - ve kuchyňských skříňkách byly pavučiny, plíseň. Stejně tak i plíseň v koupelně kolem vany a sprch.koutu. Rozbité automatické otvírání brány u vjezdu do objektu zhoršovalo vjezd, který byl navíc v úzké ulici a strmém kopci.

Geweldig mooi huis. Ruime kamers en erg schoon. Het uitzicht en de locatie. Vlakblij met winkels en shopping malls. Goede locatie om heel te eiland te ontdekken.

Keukengerei mag iets meer pannen en potten. Het automatische hek werkt niet zo goed en wel handig als hij automatisch open kan wanneer je komt aanrijden.

Location was good. Walk up the hill was no problem. Being out of the village and away from Funchal was a good choice.

Payment not handled by booking.com so need to make international transfer, this took up a lot of holiday time due to security checks. The villa was in a poor state of repair which was a shame because it could be an excellent place if it was maintained. Wouldn’t chose this place again because of these things.
