About this villa rental
This historic property has undergone a total renovation.
The property includes a private entrance with an outside garden terrace, only steps from Corso Umberto, the central pedestrian street of Taormina. Sicily. We welcome any and all inquiries, as we have been an Airbnb SuperHost for the last 8 years.
You access the property through a private terrace garden to enter the villa, which opens up to a large, completely renovated 3 bedroom/ 2 bath villa designed in Sicilian style yet containing almost all the comforts expected in a modern residence.
The property includes a new full kitchen with appliances and expansive windows, bringing in natural light and the garden view.
The kitchen includes all new appliances, a large-capacity washer and dryer, and tall bar chairs with views out onto the garden area.
The salon includes a large refinished antique dining table, a finely detailed couch, and chairs. All of the furniture is of Italian design.
The master and guest bedrooms each include split air conditioners/ heaters to maintain your room`s comfort. The beds are large and supportive and include a generous closet for your belongings.
All guests will be personally met by our Property Manager, who will give you a brief tour of the property and answer any questions you may have. He will also be available to help with activity suggestions, directions, and reservations.
The manager will help guide you in choosing activities such as wine tours, favorite restaurants, Mt. Etna tours, and other activities in the area.
If you have any questions regarding the property, activities of the area, reservations, etc., please use the Airbnb email communicator and the Property Manager, and we will respond quickly.
Please consider the time zone difference with Sicily being on Central European Time (GMT +1) for responses.
The villa is located on Corso Umberto, the main pedestrian street of Taormina. This location provides excellent access to shopping at stores such as Christian Dior and Louis Vuitton and many local vendors.
Restaurants are close and plentiful with various epicurean delights such as fresh fish,
homemade pasta, and pastries. Most restaurants will accept reservations during the typically high season of May-October.
Taormina is largely a pedestrian community with vehicles allowed only on the streets surrounding the area and not much in the city proper. Parking is largely located in a major multi-level parking garage on the west end of the village. Parking has a daily charge for vehicles.
The Property Manager can help arrange transportation for tours outside of village such as vineyard, sport fishing or Mt. Etna tours, as an example. The Property Manager can also coordinate transportation from the 2 International airports, though Catania, IT (CTA) is the closest airport to Taormina.

Our trip to Taormina was awesome. Our hosts were super responsive and very accommodating. The apartment is in a great location, easy walking distance to so many shops, restaurants and the Teatro. Would definitely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to get back.

The property was in the center of town. Perfect location! Our property manager, Luca, was very helpful. He gave us many recommendations and all were excellent choices. I would recommend this location to anyone considering a visit to Taormina.

The photos don’t do this apartment justice! The location couldn’t be better yet there is still excellent, private outdoor space. Perfect for a group.

We stayed in Taormina for three nights and couldn’t have picked a better location. The house is right at the start of Corso Umberto, so you step outside straight into the town’s lively centre. Perfect for exploring on foot.The property is spacious, beautifully renovated, and full of eclectic character. There is a lovely private courtyard with jasmine and lemon trees, ideal for outdoor breakfasts in cooler months. While one bedroom overlooks Corso Umberto, the house does not offer sweeping views, so it is worth managing expectations if that is a priority.The rooms were well appointed and comfortable, with a great balance of old charm and modern touches. Driving in Taormina can be difficult, but our host Luca helped us arrange valet parking which made everything much easier.Luca was fantastic throughout. Responsive, thoughtful, and full of local tips. He helped us arrange a birthday surprise and shared suggestions for the next leg of our trip.We would happily stay again, either here or in one of Luca’s other properties. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well located, characterful stay with warm and attentive hosting.
